It was fun.  The unit went on easy.  I had no trouble with any thing, but cleaning it was just a tad hard.  Nothing to prevent me from using it again and again.

I highly recommend this product to anyone that loves fresh pasta. It's easy to make and taste much better than store bought.

I just love my Pasta Press!

This is a game changer for making homemade pasta. I make my pasta using fresh milled flour and I really wanted to be able to make macaroni noodles. I did have a bit of trial and error with this but once I got my pasta dough to the right consistency it works great. If you are struggling getting your pasta to come out right with this then I would bet its your recipe.  You need your dough to be pretty dry for this to work properly. 
You might try using one less egg or a bit less flour.  Also make sure you make pretty small balls and feed it slowly like like the instructions say. I like to make mine a little smaller than walnut size. 
I have used almost all of the discs at this point and I honestly love them all. I have gotten to prefer this over my pasta roller and cutter attachment.

Fun to use

Works very well once you get the right consistency of the pasta dough.  Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it takes some time to properly clean it for its next use.  Great for making different unique pasta noodles rather than just spaghetti.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted this attachment for such a long time, I was beyond excited when I finally received it in the mail. The recipe was easy, the attachment was very easy to figure out, and the whole process was fun and exciting. It does make very tasty pasta. I will continue to use this over and over again. My only complaint so far is trying to clean the dough out of those pasta discs. Those little wholes are not easy to clean out. Even with that problem, I still love this attachment and would buy it any day. Highly recommended for the pasta loving families like mine!

Kitchenaid Pasta Press KSMPEXTA

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's too time consuming and after trying 3 times to make Fusilli I ended up twisting them by hand after cutting them loose.

I own a Philips pasta maker, but wanted to get the Kitchen Aid version as it had a few other pasta varieties. Made several atrempts with dry to wet pasta, and while it did make pasta, at speed 10, it was painfully slow. We are talking a couple inches per minute max. Loading dough was tedious as you can only put small portions in, and cleanup was a nightmare. The dies do not come apart and the tool to clean them is basically a metal pick. I took the remaining dough and ran it in my Philips after to not waste it. Took all of 8 minutes to have a finished batch of pasta that doesnt need to be babysat. Returned this pile of junk.
