<p>KILZ® Porch and Patio Floor Paint is a 100% acrylic latex product providing a durable, long-lasting finish that is ideal for both interior and exterior applications. This product will create a mildew resistant finish that resists scuffing, fading, cracking and peeling. Available currently in a 1-gallon, slate gray color that will give you a low-lustre enamel finish.</p> <p>KILZ Porch and Patio Floor Paint is ideal for giving your wood or concrete porches, floors, decks, basements, patios, siding, trim, furniture and trellises an upgraded look to a slate gray, low-lustre enamel finish. This product may be applied over properly prepared, previously-painted or primed surfaces. Not for use on areas subject to automotive tires. For residential applications only.</p> <h3>How to Use This Product</h3> <p>All surfaces must be clean, sound, dry and free of any dirt, oil, and grease. Remove mildew stains with a mildew stain-removing product such as a wood cleaner and brightener. Scuff sand any glossy surfaces. If making repairs, use stainless steel or galvanized nails to prevent nail staining. Countersink nail heads, repair imperfections and sand smooth. Remove all dust with a damp cloth, allow to dry. New or Weathered Wood: Prepare surface with a wood cleaner and brightener. Lightly sand to remove remaining wood fibers/ fuzz. Prime with KILZ 3 Premium Primer. Painted Wood Surfaces: To strip an old coating, use a wood stain &amp; finish stripper, then neutralize with a wood cleaner and brightener. For optimal adhesion, apply KILZ 3 Premium Primer before applying topcoat. Uncoated Concrete or Masonry Surfaces: Allow new surfaces to cure 30 days. Prepare surface with a concrete and masonry cleaner and etcher. Then prime using KILZ Concrete &amp; Masonry Bonding Primer. Painted Concrete or Masonry Surfaces: To clean a painted surface in sound condition, use a concrete and masonry cleaner and degreaser. To strip an old coating, use a concrete and masonry paint stripper. exactly what we were looking for. concerned that the shade was too dark and lackluster but as it was on covered front porch, we took our chances. love the color and sheen. will see how durable it becomes.

I painted my porch and it covered it great but be forewarned if you have dogs or heavy furniture it will scratch, but I put a clear coat of poly over it and it stopped that,  I just wish they would have acknowledged that issue and added something with this product to protect it. But even with the extra step you have to make it's a great product and goes on thick and fills in cracks so I would definitely buy again.

I love this stuff. It looks great on my porch. The he cooler comes out real nice. And another this is I didn't have to sit and mix it for a half hour before use. It also goes a long way. It's not like cheaper paints that go on like water. The price isn't bad for such a good brand. Get it

I've bought this paint twice now. one time I used it to roll on my shed floor, which turned out amazing. holds up to dirtbikes and lawnmowers. second time i put it in a paint sprayer and painted exterior walls. Looks amazing!! definitely recommend this product

Great paint!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Highly recommend this paint for anyone who wishes to paint a deck. Our deck is 10 ft by 16 ft and just took 2 gallon to cover it in two coats. We did as recommend to pressure wash first and after drying for two days we applied the Kilz primer paint to it so that porch paint would seal and adhere for best protection. Easy to apply!

We used this on a wooden porch and wooden deck. It did a wonderful job on old and rough surfaces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this with the recommended kilz primer (3) & it does not hold up to traffic. I made sure to follow the suggestions for temp., humidity, & drying time, too. The areas that are not walked on are keeping, but it's supposed to be walked on. I am disappointed at the durability & appearance in a years time & wish I would of kept the stain on it instead. It was a BIG project & took alot of time for it to be so patchy, & it's not an easy, quick, cheap fix. It shouldn't have to be repainted every year; that's way too much maintenance. I'm not sure what to do other than strip it all & choose a stain that's going to hold. (The pictures are just part of the project. I included a picture from 2022 shortly after applied. It looked great for a short time. The darker color on vertical laying wood is also a kilz brand. It was applied same time, & is holding up good other than a couple small spots.)
