I bought these for my son as he's a hash brown fanatic.  He was a little leary of trying them, but once he did he was hooked. These are now the only thing he'll eat for breakfast.  I have noticed that they are much better if you let them sit at least 5 minutes after microwaving, between 5 and 10 minutes seem best. For those who complain of mushiness try letting it sit longer.

My son loves these!

Purchased a few weeks ago and tried one and went back for another.  I have absolutely no complaints.  Don't go by the negatives and try them.  My batch was perfect!!

Addicting!

The first time I "nuked" them there was a lot of grease. From them on I placed a couple of paper towels under the JD's then "nuked". WOW NOW they are perfect! Great flavor.

I can't believe all the negative reviews.  I'm glad I didn't see them before I tried these.  This is not a healthy food, so if that's what you're into, you won't like them.  They are heavy, greasy, and salty, and I think they are great for an occasional indulgance.  If you are ok with the fact that they are very bad for you, then you will probably like them.

Filing is almost non-existing. A tad bit greasy for my taste

I was hoping that these would taste amazing, instead it felt like something thrown together as a hangover cure. I expected more from Jimmy Dean, at least trying to make the meat look like meat instead of blended mush.

Ok Taste, Overall appearance not so much

Horrible

... but they really disappointed.  They don't even taste like a hash brown, the cheese sauce is nasty, and overall they were just bad.  I ate one and threw the rest of the box away, that's how bad they were.

Had high expectations for these...

I had high hopes, but product taste is bad.

We bought these to try for a fast snack for breakfast and they are not good at all.  They are very bland and the inside is just a plain mush.  All three of us in the house tried them and tried cooking them different ways and they just don't taste good at all.
