Perfect temperature of water for my hot tea or the kids noodles. It makes a good amount of water. Perfect for multiple cups or items. The look of it is sleek and modern. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this electric kettle because it does heat up my water fairly quickly.  I do not like that it sounds like it is boiling almost immediately because if you try it right away the water is just lukewarm.  I liked that there was an auto shut off switch after it boils and that if I came back to the pot a half hour later the water was still very hot.  It would be nice to warm up the water before you have a group of people over for tea and then have it l already ready to go.  I wish this model had a window to see where your water level was.  If it is filled to the max line it is fairly heavy to lift up with the stainless steel drum but at half it is definitely manageable for me!

Keeps Water Hot For Awhile

Looks great in my kitchen.  Easy to use.  Water is ready in minutes. I don't have to turn on my gas stove for hot water.  I love the auto shut off.   .  I am a little worried about the plastic on off switch, but bought this because I trust the Hamilton Beach products. I just hope it works well past the 1 year warrantee.  I noticed Canada gets 3 years.  HMMMMM

Cool Touch Kettle

We have been using this daily, for a couple of weeks now.  Bought it to replace a plastic-bodied Toastmaster brand kettle that was starting to discolor.  This one has a lining that is entirely stainless steel.   It heats as quickly as the old one, and the outside is cool to the touch.  Only thing I would change is the level markings, which are "MIN" (0.6 liter) and "MAX" (1.6 liter).  We normally fill to about 1 liter,  and have to estimate between the 2 lines.  Also, the markings are on only one side, and you have to pour left-handed to see them while filling the kettle.  Keeper.

This item is so easy to use and to clean up and ready to use again. It is kept on the counter for daily use. Even though it is plastic outside with metal internal liner it is quality made.
