I find no difference between these lentils and any of the other brands out there.  These are always a great price, so I choose Great Value in most items whenever available.

Love these.  Great price, too, regardless of how many ordered at one time.  Makes the most wonderful soup or stew.  Ideal for diabetics who have to watch the glycemic index of food items.

GV LENTILS

Been buying these for 10 years. I eat this with the brown rice everyday, and go through 2 lb of these a week.. Just strain to get any dirt out and good to go. I've occasionally gotten small lentil sized rocks but maybe 10 times over the entire time.

i love lentils

Delicious and nutritious. Fast-cooking protein. A must have for vegetarians. Delicious in a stew with potatoes, carrots, onions and garlic.

I had been buying canned lentils. First time I tried dried lentils . I have made twice already . Delicious.  For the price and convenience of having these delivered to my front door, you cant beat it. I plan on buying more !

Excellent product and value

I discovered Lentils about 30 years ago when I had begun eating more "meat free" dishes, and this brand is by far the best for taste and value that I have found.

Great Value For Your Money

The doctor keeps encouraging us to try a Mediterranean diet. I found a recipe for a simple Italian lentil soup on scordo.com. I used the GV lentils in the recipe. Lentils cook fast( 20-30 min) and do not require soaking, just rinsing, beforehand. We both enjoyed the soup very much. I intend to find more lentil recipes. I read that you can use them in soups, stews, spaghetti sauce, chili, salads, curry, and who knows what else. I love lentils!

These lentils were very good ....the skins didn't come off there were no stones or stcis in bag however The lentils seemed smaller than other brands but were very good.

worst quality of lentils I have ever purchased. Bag was chock-full of sticks, plant debris and rotten beans. Took way to long to wash. won't ever buy Great Value lentils again. Not worth the effort and risk at any price.
