Works great !  Installation was pretty straight forward.  Replaced a very old Sears 1/4 horse unit so had to redo the mounting parts.  Old wooden door so needed carriage bolts that aren't provided.  I can understand as the door thickness could vary.  Luck for me I had some on hand.  I will say it is built much lighter than what it replaced with more plastic. But what isn't.  Price was great with a discount code.  Cheaper than the big box stores.  Be aware there seem to be two of these that appear to be the same.  But this one has a heavier motor unit, rated for more weight and better warrantee. Happy with the purchase.

I purchased the 2035-TKV model. Installation was easy and everything works perfectly. I am very satisfied with this product and would not hesitate to recommend it to a friend.

I am now considering buying a wireless indoor remote control for the door frame.

More than excellent

Very please with this purchase. It took about an hour for my neighbor to install my garage opener. He installs the for living. The garage is very quiet and smooth. Super easy to program the keypad and now my latch-key kid is key-less so no more replying lost keys. My pervious opener was a Genie opener so when I seen themom a limited sale with Sam's Club I knew I had to grab it. Glad I did. Would definitely buy again. Ps. I have a single car garage but this will up us to 3 garage doors.

Great Garage Opener

This opener is,the quietest opener I've ever heard

Smaller and more compact than others.

The door was fairly easy to install. It is very quiet and the sensors were extremely easy to install.

Bought this as a replacement for a twenty something year old Craftsman that lacked safety features and was in stalled off center to accommodate the original 16' foot door . I centered the new opener on the 18' door and it works great . If you are going to install it yourself I would recommend reading the owner / operator manual prior to installation instructions and purchasing color coder t-stat or bell wire from a local local hardware store as they supplied wire is very small gauge and about impossible for old eyes to determine which one is striped . For this reason I can only give it a 4 rating .

This is powerful enough to lift a 7' x 18' door .

Easy installation and very simple programming

Light weight garage door opener

I bought this in late June. It took 2 weeks to arrive. It opens my single wide garage door, but very slowly. I was thinking of buying a second one for our other garage door but after seeing how slow this one is i chose not to.

I bought two of these to replace our aging garage openers.  I decided to hire someone to install.  Only one worked, so I was out the install fee for the second door opener.  When I called Genie, their response was that they just make the door openers--they don't guarantee they'll work.  The one that did work sounds like it is struggling to open the door even though it has more than enough horsepower. My installer said that Genie is one of the worst brands and that about 1/3 of new openers don't work right out of the box.  Wish I would have known!
