Happy with the toaster

So far, so good. We have only had this toaster for a short time, and as they say, "time will tell," but as of now, we are happy with it. All of our bread is home-baked, and slices aren't perfect as with store-purchased bread, but this toaster handles it all very well. I find even on the darkest setting, toast is not quite dark enough for our preference, but very easy to set at a lower setting for a brief period, and then it is just right. Before this purchase, we had tried two toasters from a different manufacturer. They worked so poorly that we returned them. We have high hopes that this toaster will last for a long while.

love the modern clean lines, the extra wide openings, and higher rise to remove toast etc. The shade knob is very accurate also. Glad I spent the extra money on this solid GE appliance.

GREAT EXTRA WIDE BREAD TOASTER

If you want a really good basic toaster for large loaf bread and bagels, then this is a great choice. It even toasts frozen bread nicely with the setting for that.
