I purchased this coffee on line and am very pleased.  The coffee has a bold smooth taste without being bitter.  There was no charge for the shipping, as we are plus members, and the contents arrived on time and undamaged.  Considering the excellent taste, great service and fair price, I plan on buying this coffee again.

Excellent coffee and great service at a fair price

I have bought smaller containers of this coffee for a long time at local groceries.  The price at Sam's convinced me to buy a couple containers that should satfisy my coffee habit for quite a while.

Long History of Great Taste

Drank this for years, then it started getting bitter so got a French press and started buying a better coffee or so I thought. Ran out of the “better coffee” and stuck what I had of this Folgers Black Silk in the French press and TA-DA!

No longer be buying expensive coffee and what a nice smooth (not bitter) cup of coffee this makes in the French press, better than anything else I have tried. The key is only let it sit for a max of 4 minutes. :)

OH, and you only use a third to a half of the coffee in a French Press

Not a coffee snob but...

if you like your coffee black or just prefer a strong brew with your milk/creamer, then you have to try this.  strong and delicious coffee is what everyone desires, not just a weak water run-through with low flavor beans.  you'll see that your local coffee shop can no longer compete with Black Silk coffee.

It's dark but silky smooth and makes the best dang iced coffees I've ever had.

bold smooth flavor

This is our go to coffee but I can't find it in anything but little cans everywhere else. Plus it's only availabe for shipping so I just order online and don't waste any gas with unnecessary trips into town for just coffee.

Why are you buying the little can of coffee

I love Bold Dark Coffee!  I got tired of paying way to much for K-cups so decided to just fill up the single use cartridge as needed and save hundreds of dollars!  I box of 100 Sams Club brand French Roast is around $30.  On a SS Budget so with this loose coffee from Folger's i get 370 cups for $11.00!
It's a no-brainer people!

When I bought this item at the grocery store it was truly "black".  This just looks like normal coffee.

Why call it black?

I bought this online as it is not in store . I thought it would have a richer coffee taste because it's dark but I was disappointed .  I prefer the Colombian much better coffee taste .
