This is my second set of tires on this vehicle, this set of Firestone Destinations that I have purchased over the years. Can't say enough about them. The old Michelin's were hard and slippery, these Destination LE3 completely transformed the ride of my truck and instill confidence once again that it can go through anything I need it to. Ive been a Bridgestone Tires customer for over 20 years now on cars trucks & Rv's , but when my Firestone Tire store were i make all my Tire purchases suggested that i look at these tires,,,, well at first i said NO .. but then he showed me the numbers that the others that have ran these tires in my area & their shares about them.. So reluctantly i agreed to try them with a total 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE.. after the first fall weather and snow winter in Northwest Illinois i was a NOW fan of the Firestone LE3 tires .. I live in south western Oregon Now and will be looking for these tires while shopping this week.. Hopefully they are still as good as my last set turned out to be....FYI... I WOULDN'T suggest these for Trucks !! i would only use for SUV & Cars.... Happy Trails Too You (-:

LE3 Tires

THIS IS MY SECOND SET OF LE3 TIRES FOR MY 2015 F150 FX4. I USE TO GET BF BOODRICH ALL TERRAINS BUT I GOT TOO OLD FOR THE ROUGH RIDE AND NOISE. I GOT ABOUT 80,OOO MILES ON THE 1ST SET. THEY WORE EVENLY AND HAD A COMFORTABLE RIDE THE WHOLE LIFE OF THE TIRE. THE WHITE FIRESTONE / FIRESTONE LETTERS WITHOUT SAYING DESTINATION OR FIREHAWK OR WHATEVER TOO LOOK GOOD. I WISH THEY WERE SOLID WHITE LETTERS INSTEAD OF WHITE OUTLINE. THE PRICE IS VERY GOOD FOR THE QUATILY OF THE TIRE.

Admittedly, I have a very limited experience so far with these tires to offer a comprehensive review but so far, so good. I needed to replace the factory included Dunlops on my RAV4 and with the vehicle being one of THE most popular on the roads today, there are a myriad of tire choices so there was a lot of comparing to do. I've always like Bridgestone/Firestone tires and have had good experiences with them over the years so I focused on their offerings. The Destination LE3 seems to have the best combination of value, expected tire life and confirmed performance in most weather conditions. I hope they don't let me down but so far they seem to be a great option.

So Far, So Good

This is my 2nd set Of Firestone Destinations. I drive mainly local and highway. But they handle and ride great. I've had them in snow,mud and light off road fun. I get every mile outta these tires they say. 70 thousand plus. And I probably could of got more. But I don't push when it comes to safety in my truck.

Firestone Destination

I have driven the 8 hour trip from Ohio to South Carolina countless times and these tires are quite and smooth. I have had excellent control at high speeds through deep puddles (they aren't prone to hydroplaning), I have driven on muddy gravel hunting roads in the mountains of North Carolina and never had traction issues, I have gotten through up to a foot of snow with no issues, and never gotten stuck as long as I have had them. Overall I think they are a great tire if you want to have street tires that can get you through some occasional off road use. The only reason I rate the traction with four stars is because they aren't an all terrain tire and occasionally they slip on wet pavement in you try to accelerate quickly from a stop.

These are great all around tires

The tires performnace is good. I had to drive in some pretty bad PA, USA weather and they did quite well. The only thing I don't like about them is the tread wear. After about 30k miles there is only 1-2 mm left above the bars on 1 or 2 of the tires. Not sure if it is the weight of my car as this is the first SUV I have owned but I was hoping to get at least 50-60k out of these tires but they may not make it there.

I made a bad mistake installing these tires. They seem to have a manufactures defect. Before replacing the hankook factory installed tires on my truck, No vibration at any speed. Now after installation of these new FIRESTONE LE3, VIBRATION,I even brought truck back in and the manager rebalanced and even though a little better, still vibrates! I'm not happy at all and would spend the time to have a NEW set of anything that would NOT vibrated installed. I paid for road hazard warranty but that only matters if I ruin a tire not if I'm just not happy with your product's performance. Lemon tires!

FIRESTONE LE3

Garbage tires Destanation bad. Had a Blowout on the Expressway! Almost had a very bad outcome , it was out of control ended in the grass. The last two I bought didn't last. I was Leary of getting more. NEVER AGAIN! I'm not at all comfortable with Firestone anymore!

Blow Out

My local Tires Plus store recommended this tire on 12/30/20 noting the 70,000 mile limited warranty. I purchased 4 new tires based on the warranty as it was described to me. Today, 7/20/24, (with only 34,790 miles on the vehicle since these tires were purchased) Tires Plus told me that all of the tires should be replaced. Tread wear was down to 3/32. The tires were rotated every 5,000 miles since install. If you are buying these tires, as I did, based on the warranty, you need to shop for a different manufacturer's tire as Firestone's warranty mileage estimates are not even close to being accurate. My vehicle is a 2010 with only 131,440 miles on it. The vehicle gets driven approx. 20 miles per day, all below 50 mph so extreme driving conditions are not to blame.
