Amazing treadmill.  Several different family members with differing levels of fitness are happy with it.  The variable speed and incline make so the one training for ten day backpacking trip can change grades on fly.  The runner likes the speed adjustment and recovering from injury likes the side grab bars.  All like being able to use tablets or laptops during exercise.  Highly recommend.

I've been using it for 3 weeks now and have been walking 10 to 15 miles a week WHILE working. It does Exactly what I wanted it to do. If you are looking to run or get a treadmill to run, this will not work as it has a max speed of 4MPH and it's too short to go greater than 4MPH or you'll have a problem with longer strides. But, if you just want a treadmill that you can walk and work, this does exactly that. I typically use it at 2.3 or 2.5 MPH while using my laptop, but if I get over 2.5 MPH I do find that using the mouse or keyboard can get a bit difficult.

I do wish the desk sat about 6 inches further back over the treadmill so when your working closer to the desk you don't have to worry about your foot hittting the front of the treadmill. I also think if it was 1 foot longer it would be PERFECT. I'm 6' 1" so with my stride, 4 MPH makes the treadmill can be a bit difficult for my stride gets a bit too long for the treadmill. In the future, they should make the desk height adjustable, for sometimes I wish it was a bit lower while I'm studying work material. If you are under 5' 4", it may be a tad bit too high to be comfortable to use.

I would definitely buy it again and a co-worker is getting one this week after seeing how much I use it. My goal is to walk on it 20 to 25 miles a week while working.

It was very simple to assemble, took about 20 minutes to put together.

Excellent Workstation Treadmill

This Treadmill is awesome!!! It had easy istallation instructions...my 14 year old daughter and I were able to put it together with no problems. I like the preselected options so I don't have to increase/ decrease speed and wait for it to get up/down to where I want it to be. Same thing for the incline. I have only had this for one day so after about a month of use I will probably write another review.

Great equipment

I can honestly say I was looking and searching for a way to justify this purchase to myself when you can get a treadmill for 450. But with this product I no longer have a reason not to exercise. I can get work done and work out at the same time

I love this product,

I was a bit concerned from some of the reviews since the desktop does not adjust in height (it does in angle, just not overall height).  I am 5'6" and while the desktop is perfect for a monitor, ergonomically this is not ideal for arms/wrists.  I was too impatient to purchase an articulating desk/mouse shelf so I made a small table to place my keyboard and mouse at the proper height.  The treadmill is STURDY!  I recommend you have a second person help with moving the boxes...I mistakenly thought I could just open the boxes and carry the parts in individually but it is mostly assembled so only 3 parts.  The treadmill section is HEAVY!  To maneuver my hallway I needed to turn it on its side/top but this kept triggering the folding mechanism - an extra set of hands would have been quite useful. Once the sections were in the room I wanted, set up was simple.  I have been using it every day since I received it and am very happy to have it!  I don't depend on the pulse reader because it thinks my pulse is 75 at all times (it isn't) and it would be nice to be able to pause the program instead of stopping it since the display resets to zero but all things considered this is a tremendous value for the price!!

Tremendous Value!

So glad I purchased this, use it all work day. I have 2 wide screen monitors and a keyboard that fit nicely on the desk.  Desk is much more spacious than I expected. Was nervous because I am only 5'3", but works great. I type all day with no issues.  Highly recommend!

Great purchase

There are so many things I like about the Exerpeutic 990 Work and Fitness Station Treadmill. It is lighter than many on the market and reasonably priced. It has the electrical plug-ins (3!) on the desk which means I can keep my laptop plugged in while I work. The desk is a good size and can be set at several different angles. It is relatively quiet in case you want to watch TV or need to talk on the phone.

There is a significant drawback, however. The biggest reason I didn't give it an excellent rating is that in the effort to make it one size fits all, it fits very few. For a 5'6" woman the whole desk assembly is too high for true comfort in working on my computer keyboard. I can't imagine that a 5-foot person could even use it to work. Exerpeutic has to figure out a way to have several height options. If they can remedy this issue, I think this work treadmill would indeed be perfect.

Exerpeutic 990 is ALMOST perfect.

The height is not adjustable. At about 5'4" its a little tall for me, but it'll do. It's a little noisier than I expected based on the ad, hard to have a conversation when it's going.

One of the wires was pinched when I received it and the speed adjustment only works one direction on the arm. Not sure I'm going to go through the hassle of return at this point. Calling customer services to see their solution.

I bought this treadmill to help me with my diabetes since continuous exercise helps lower down the blood sugar. And it has done its job. I can also use my laptop while working out. I have done so much readings during my workout because of the wide desktop attached to the treadmill
