Eddy Smoked Turkey Drumsticks are precooked, but can be reheated in a conventional oven or on the grill using a process that will not dry out the meat. <h3>What Is The Best Way To Re-Heat Smoked Turkey Legs?</h3> You will want to re-heat smoked turkey legs at&nbsp;a low temperature so as to not dry out the meat. Oven: Preheat the oven to 250° F. Place the legs on a baking sheet or cooking dish, allowing space between the legs to allow for even cooking. Sprinkle the legs with a small amount of water. Cover tightly with foil or a baking dish lid. Bake in the preheated oven for approx. two hours. Cooking time will vary, so test using a digital thermometer. The USDA recommends that cooked turkey be reheated to an internal temperature of 165° F. Grill: Preheat the grill to a low temperature. Sprinkle the turkey legs with water and wrap tightly in aluminum foil to keep the meat from drying out. Leave on the grill until the meat reaches an internal temperature of 165° F.

I use these instead of ham when I crave good ole' "ham" and beans.  They're wonderful, instead of using regular ham hocks, which I no longer am able to eat.  I introduced these to my cousin who was delighted to also have the smoked meat back in her diet.  Everyone I tell about them, now keeps them in their freezer.

Easy to heat and eat

These drum sticks are perfectly smoked.  I steamed them and sliced the meat off the bones.  My guest couldn't believe they were store bought.

I toss one or two of these in a pot of split peas or beans and let them simmer till the beans are done. I usually freeze in sets of two legs, and have even thrown them into the pot frozen. They cook up very nicely, and taste very much like ham. I have heated them in the oven, as recommended, and they are good that way, but I really love using them in soups and stews.
