When I first started drinking Dr. Pepper, soda pops were still in bottles and only cost a nickel each. :) So its a bit daunting that inflation has rocketed the cost of THIS drink to $1.06 each can. As a senior on a fixed income, I can no longer afford this product. It keeps going up a few dollars every time I want to buy it and I have to pass except for a once in awhile splurge when it goes on sale.

Dr Pepper is a regular favorite in our house, so a 24-pack makes a lot more sense for us than constantly buying smaller quantities. With a household of five, drinks can disappear pretty quickly, especially when everyone is coming and going throughout the day. I like the classic Dr Pepper flavor because it has a distinctive taste that isn't quite like a traditional cola. It's sweet and flavorful, and I think it tastes best when it's really cold. The 12-ounce cans are also a convenient individual serving size and are easy to grab from the refrigerator. The 24-pack is particularly useful for stocking the pantry or refrigerator. I like being able to buy a larger quantity at once and not have to worry about running out after just a few days. I do a lot of cooking and baking from scratch, and every once in a while soda even finds its way into one of my recipes or desserts. Most of the time, though, I'm simply enjoying a cold can as a drink. I appreciate the convenience of having individual cans because everyone can grab one without opening a larger bottle. They're also easy to take along for a day out or keep available for family meals and gatherings. Overall, if you're already a fan of classic Dr Pepper, the 24-pack is a convenient way to stock up. The 12-ounce cans are an easy size, the flavor is consistently recognizable, and the larger quantity works particularly well for a busy household that goes through soda regularly.
