You get what you pay for! This set isn't expensive at all, so it's not the BEST quality but it's ok. It's decent as a carry-on. I don't think it would last to be thrown around as checked luggage. The plastic shell is weak, it scuffs easy, and the handle doesn't go up all the way. Also, the zipper on the inside came apart. But it's cool for kids sleeping over at grandma & grandpa's house, or for a weekend vacation getaway. It's a little smaller than a regular sized carry-on. The backpack that it comes with is small and skinny, good enough for a snack, coloring book & pencils/crayons. 

Overall, it's average!
