Deluxe Acrylic Mahjong Starter Kit

as soon as I said to arrive to my house and I picked it up I knew this was the real deal. a high quality mahjong set. it was heavy and when I opened it up I was amazed about the quality of the set. All the pieces feel nice and crisp and smooth to my fingers as well as to have a nice weight to them so they don't fly off. and they give a very satisfying clack sound. and I'm very glad it came with a anti-slit mat. nothing slides when it's on it easily. and the mat itself stays were it's placed. I also love the bag. it's a nice high quality bag. that's great for travel. I'm honestly astounded that this set is worth its weight in gold.

Love the Blooming set! If you haven't used trays without connected pushers it's a little hard to get used to. These trays have a separate pusher piece that is not connected. The mat comes folded, the creases do not come out easy. (see photo) The creases make it hard to move pieces across the mat. I rolled mine around a thick wrapping paper tube for 1 week to try get the creases out. The mat will not fit in the bag unless it's folded. So mine sticks out one end since it's rolled. The pushers have a film on both sides that can be peeled off to make them clear just like the trays. If you don't peel them off they just remain cloudy (see photo). You are given two extra Jokers and six blanks in case you lose any pieces. The row of 19 tiles against the pusher at the beginning of the game hangs off both ends a little bit.
