I wish I had purchased this item long ago!  I installed this air conditioner on my 12'X22' Eze-Breeze enclosed porch, and it has made it cool and comfortable during the hot days of summer.  The dehumidifier mode also works wonders!  Installation was simple and fast -- I highly recommend the De'Longhi Portable air conditioner.

Cool comfort!

Bought this for our trailer, as our main central air can not cool the extension.  By using this air conditioner we are able to bring the temp WAY down and also slowed the central air trying to cool the entire trailer and add on.

Very Nice Air Conditioner

We use it for our master bedroom and bathroom only.. about 650 sqft or so. 
cheaper than running whole house air condition. 
cools down room within about 20 minutes. 
yes, it is a little on the loud side but we have TV running all night long anyway. LOL.

I have suffered through a few summers in my upstairs south facing master bedroom since moving into our house.  Even when our AC was running that bedroom was always hot, this unit is a dream!  Now we can set our ac at a higher temperature and keep our bedroom perfectly cool.

Good unit for small area.

I've had this air conditioner for about 3 weeks now I really love it. I bought this because my mom bought one of these several years ago and it's still going strong and she loves it.It takes up A small space. I think it puts out cold air about the same as a small air conditioner. I'M very happy with this purchase!

Cold Air

I bought this for a sunroom 16x20 which has 14 windows and the room gets pretty warm even with the shades pulled.  This room was addition to our home after it was built and the central air just doesn't seem it cool it off like we like, this unit was a good decision it works well to cool the room.  I like the fact that it can be easily moved to other rooms with ease.  The only thing I wish was different is the drain hole, it would be nice if it came with a hose attachment so you would not have to move it to empty.

So far so good

The unit itself is very nice.  We needed a floor unit since we have slider windows and a window unit would not work without a custom fit that we could not do.   We have a 400 sq ft bedroom that stayed hot all the time, so we felt this would be a good solution. It might have been if the window had been low to the ground, but that window is 4 ft up.  The hose is too short for a high window.  We tried to solve the situation by placing it on a table.  It was unsightly!  Plus dangerous since it is on casters and we were afraid our grandchildren would run into it and knock it off.  It is very heavy, so that would be a problem if it did fall on someone as it could crush a small child.  
The air is continuous cold air though and worked great! It took about 2 days to get it to cool down the room from the 80's, but after that, it stayed in the 70's.  It is a very nice AC unit with Dehumidifier, but we are sending it back due to having to place it on a table.  Too bad the hose is not about 2 ft. longer.  I would still recommend it for cooling a room under 450 sq ft.

De'Longhi Portable AC

I bought this at the beginning of summer to use in our bedroom as supplement to our central a/c. It works very well though a little loud. We eventually got used to the loudness and actually miss it when not running. Very easy set up and we not longer had to crank up our central a/c.

Good product

We purchased the portable AC for our condo.  It arrived broken, the warning light immediately came on when I plugged it in.  I called DeLonghi and they told me that one of the sensors was broken and to shake the machine.  I did and NOTHING.  I called SAMS to have them ship me another one and take the broken one back, even as it was sold to me with free shipping.  SAMS told me that I had to take the very heavy machine back to a club.  Not happy at all with SAMS and the manufacturer, since the machine is very bulky and does not fit in my trunk.
