This was  bought as a give for a little 7 yr old who wanted to learn how to sew. So far she is having fun making items.

Toys

The batteries did not make contact with the metal so the sewing machine would not start.  There was a large gap.    My husband to add a metal piece so that the batteries would make contact and it could be used.  After  we had to rig that part so it would turn on, it worked well.

Battery Issues

I was so excited to gift this to my daughter for her birthday. When we set it up the compartment where the batteries are held heated up instantly. Also the product didnt work. I'm currently in the process of figuring out how to get a refund for this product.

Piece of junk

I purchased this for 8yr old grand daughter for a christmas present and she was so disapointed when it didn't work at all.   I would like to know how to obtain a refund so I can get her something else.

Disapointment

I bought this for my granddaughter for her birthday and she was so excited.  Unfortunatly, I can't get it to work. New batteries installed and nothing.  There is no power to this machine.  I know Sam's Club will take it back but I had really expected it would work out of the box.  Very disappointed as is my granddaughter.  From the other comments I was able to email the customer service department and hope for a reply and recommendation.
