I comparison shopped for a few months before purchasing this CPU. You will not find a better price on a 4th generation, i7 CPU with discrete graphics card.

Performance has been great so far. Multitasking is a breeze. Very fast response time. This is also the quietest system I've ever owned. I literally don't hear a thing when it's booting.

I am not using the included keyboard and mouse since I have wireless ones I prefer, so I can't speak to their quality or performance.

For those wondering, the memory included is 8GB on two 4GB DIMMs, expandable to 16GB.

Great bang for the buck!

After 10 years, I replaced my old Dell Dimension 4600 w/XP with a new Dell XPS 8700 Desktop Computer, Intel Core I7-4700, 8B Memory, 1TB Hard Drive, The difference in speed is amazing. The Win 8.1 takes a little more time to get use to. I do not like the propriety Microsoft software that's loaded. In order to use it, MS requires you to set up a new Microsoft account. I've managed to work around that by loading my own software without setting up a new MS account. I got better pricing with Sam's online shopping than purchasing directly from Dell or others. This is an excellent computer for the money and will do everything I need to do.

Excellent Computer at a Great Price

I have no complain, this item is new and gives me great expectations. It's very powerful, fast and stocks a great deal of memory. It's worth the trip. If I have any trouble I'll call you. I'm old and simple. Things need to work...

I am amazed how much processing power this Dell has. I can actually work on my computer and back up at the same time and there is no lag at all! Love this new computer!
