Cultured Freshwater 9-10 mm Pearl Endless Necklace

These pearls are gathered from freshwater lake and river mollusks. Most Freshwater pearls come from China and they can be mostly round to off-round, or rice-shaped to baroque. They look similar to Akoya pearls, but are the perfect gift when on a budget. They might be slightly less symmetrical, smaller, or not as easily matched, but these minor differences provide a major value for the price. The appealing, deep shine of a pearl is often what defines its beauty. This shine is produced by multiple layers of semi-opaque calcium carbonate crystals, called nacre. This 100" FWP necklace is super value ($130). I have seen faux (fake) pearl necklace cost over $300. You can wear it  double or 3 layers. So beautiful!! Pearls are off round, which is typical FWP. Color is white with very minor blemishes. The only thing I am not happy about this necklace is the size. It claimed 9-10mm. Turn out all the pearls are under 9mm! The necklace is made up of 188 pearls. For the price I paid, ok, I think I can swallow the size variance it claimed.

Exactly as described, uniform size & color and exactly what she wanted. Well packaged and Arrived on time. This was my 2nd online jewelry purchase and both experiences have been excellent.

Excellent Online Jewelry Purchase

Beautiful Pearls in a lovely strand but HORRIBLE packaging.  They came in a bag.  Not a great way to give a gift.  Enjoy your "bag" of pearls. Most people don't have necklace boxes so a more presentable package would have been really nice.  I would have gladly paid more for a nice box to give them in.  Again, the pearls are LOVELY, but if you're getting them as a gift, you will need to figure out packaging too.

This is a wonderfully versatile necklace.  The pearls are very nice looking and even in color and shape.

My daughter loved them. They are nice and heavy but there are some small kinks that prevent it from laying smoothly.

Pearl Necklace

Good value for the cost. Pearls are nice and of fairly uniform size although not perfectly round. But this is only noticeable upon close examination. When worn they look fine. Luster of pearls good.

Nice long string of pearls

I called my sister to put on her pearls when Kamala was sworn in. To my surprise she didn't have any pearls. How dare a sorority member not have a strand...so now that will not be the case especially for the next time.

The pearls are non-expensive and a nice starter strand and will make a nice addition for her to pass on to her future granddaughter.

Belated 50th BDay present

The luster is quite nice but the pearls are not 9-10 mm; more like 8-9 mm. Also there are about 8 pearls with serious blemishes. I really like this necklace so am returning for an exchange..
