This is a replacement for another product so I was ready to be critical of this. After using it, it has plenty of power, it's easy to clean and looks nice sitting on my counter. For me, it was a good purchase.

I've used the Mini-Prep for chopping ingredients for tuna or chicken salad, chopping veggies for chili, chopping cheese, nuts for a pie crust, making hummus / baba ganouj, salsa, pesto, purees, sauces, etc.  It can handle anything I choose to process.  Looks like I just wore out the first one I used.
This is my 2nd Mini-Prep, because the 1st one I had for 9 years finally bit the dust.  The blades would spin great when it was empty, but if you put in any food (resistance), --regardless of size--the motor would spin, but not the blade spindle--even a new one; ... so, I now have replacement parts if I should ever need them.
Getting such good use for so long from the 1st one I bought, I decided to get another one.

Great little processor!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been needing a small food processor for a while. Some recipes just don't work well in a blender! I wanted something that would make it easier to scoop out my guacamole or similar foods.

This Cuisinart works exactly as I hoped it would. It's very sturdy and easy to use. Just chop or grind… who needs more options? The finished product is easy to scoop out of the shallow bowl. And it comes apart so easily for cleaning! 

I've only had it for a few weeks, but I sure hope it works this well for a long time. It's perfect for me.

Exactly what I was looking for

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After my old chopper died, I found this 24 ounce prep monster machine. I can chop anything! I typically process carrots for pasta salads and tuna salad. Carrots take a few pulse chops and viola! Perfect pieces! Thank you Cuisinart!

The Power...

I love to cook but chopping vegetables isn't as easy for me as it once was. This mini processor does the job quickly and easily with little to clean up. It's a mus in my kitchen.

It's the right tool for the job

I absolutely love my mini chopper! It's the perfect size for handling 1-2 cups of ingredients.  

One of the best things I've enjoyed about this mini chopper is its versatility. It chops nuts, shreds cooked chicken, and blends ingredients for fresh salsa in seconds. 

Cleanup is also a breeze. Most parts are dishwasher-safe, and the compact design makes storage simple 

If you're looking for a small but efficient food processor for everyday kitchen tasks, I highly recommend it.

Love my mini chopper

Nice compact size looks good on counter I had a smaller one but needed a little bit bigger so I ordered this and couldn't be happier. I tried it with celery and it came out perfect highly recommend it and I also like this one because it has a handle to take the bowl off.

Bought to chop nuts and does a good job with this.  Tried to chop cabbage and carrots for slaw. It basically pureed both on the chop mode.  Not very pleased with this.  The other option is grind, which would not work for either.  It's got good power, so we'll see what else we can use it for.

I have a huge Cuisinart food processor (fp) that's over 40 years old. It is cumbersome, thus I was looking for something smaller, specifically to shred cheese. I saw this item and, after reading the instructions, gave it a whirl. In order to do so, I had to slice the cheese into smaller pieces, insert them into this processor, and pulse until it seemed to be to my liking. The fp worked well and came with a scooper to clean off most of what stuck to the sides. I wish that it had a cover or a container, I stored mine in a box for now.

Recommended for smaller tasks

The cover has a very small opening for adding liquids when processing. A medicine type dropper is needed, the opening is so small. I tried adding olive oil using a small measuring cup with a small pouring spout. Even adding it very slowly it was very messy. Would not buy this model again.
