The cosmic apples are so kind and delicious. Our new family pay rent. We used to only buy the Honeycrisp apples, but my kids like this one better because they’re very sweet, crunchy, and juicy. Perfect for a snack on its own or to dip into peanut or almond butter.

Crunchy, juicy and delicious

I worked at an apple orchard for five years, and we had a lot of flavors, but we never had Cosmic Crisp (possibly because it hadn't been made back then; it appears to be a crossbred apple), and I wish we had because these are my favorite! They're sweet, but they've got the tang of a HoneyCrisp without being as strong as a Granny Smith or a Pink Lady. My dad likes Gala, but they're too sweet for me, and I hate Red Delicious, but Cosmic Crisp? Love them!

Favorite Apple!

My wife loves apples but is very fussy apple what kinds she'll eat. Typically she prefers Macouns which we have to order online and have delivered to us hear in Florida. However, they are only available for a short period of time in the fall. Of course this is a very expensive proposition. Starting this spring I bought her some of these Cosmic Crisps and she loves them. While the peel is a little thicker than a Macoun they have the same crispness and sweet-tart flavor. I am not sure if they are actually available year round but here it is in May and you can still get them at Sam's, so hopefully they are.

Good Crisp Apple - Available Year Round?

These are nice and crisp with a not too sweet,  not too tangy flavor.  They hold up well. I cooked them in butter, cinnamon and brown sugar,  put a graham cracker with a caramel layer and walnuts down first. The cooked apples were next, then whipped topping and a walnut half.  I wanted a picture but people grabbed them as fast as I could put the whipped topping on. They were still raving about the apple dessert 3 days later!

A perfect dessert that was the hit of the bbq.

I like Cosmic Crisp apples. These are a good size for eating, though the large ones at Walmart are good to but you do have to cut them up since they are so big.

Best apples you can by always firm, and stay that way for weeks in the fridge.  Delicious just tart and sweet enough!  You won’t be sorry you bought this variant!

Best ever apple

These apples are amazing. I think they are far better and cheaper than honey crisp apples. They still have the texture and crunch as honey crisp. In my opinion, I actually prefer them because of the price.

Cosmic crisp All the way!

These are tasty apples. I would give them four stars for the number of bruises that they have, but that's not the apples fault. For the price, they are well worth cutting away a couple of bruised spots.

These apples are so crisp with just the right amount of sweetness. I highly recommend. And the price here also can’t be beat. I’ve always gotten very high quality and delicious apples.

Best apples ever!

USUALLY these Cosmic apples are good, crispy and sweet. But this time almost all apples were bad. I didn't take any photos though when you cut you could see brown-ish lines. I just wasted all whole bag. Very disappointed. So shoppers attention! Not only these but all kinds of apples sam's sale, when its price has been dropped be aware. Unfortunately I am not so pro to find out if apple is good inside or bad but I can tell when apples are cheaper I would not buy them at Sam's. Apples in the best season are greart buy though!
