This review was collected as part of a promotion,  and the opinions are my own. The flavor is very good. Not too salty as many others are. Lots of potatoes along with the corn beef. Crisps up well and is seasoned well. I personally would not add any seasoning to it as it is done the way I like it. My only complaint with the product is the size of the can. I wouldn't normally by this large of a can and hope they have a smaller size available. The price is good as well for how much you get! Would definitely recommend!

The Chef-Mate corned beef hash with potatoes pinions and seasonings large can is wonderful for larger families. This 107 oz can will feed my family if 5 from at Minimum three meals and provide a great source of protein. These cans are great for long term stocking up as well since they don't expire for almost two years. I used to purchase many little cans just to make one breakfast, but now this will be my go to.

Great for large families to keep on hand

This corned beef hash by Chef-Mate is delicious and filling. It wasn't to hard to cook. I cooked it three different ways, in the oven, on the stove in a cast iron pan and on the griddle which cooked the fastest. I cooked until it had a golden crisp on the bottom and top. I didn't have to add any seasonings.  I topped it with eggs. It taste more like potatoes than meat and that's fine with me. I was actually really impressed with the quality of this product. My husband is a big corned beef hash fan, and the quality was up to his standards so I consider that a win!  Seasonings were right on, wasn't too salty. We really enjoyed it. We have a large family (8 of us in all) and we have enough to feed us all again, so this would be great for a large group or save the leftovers for another time!

One of my favorite breakfast meals is corned beef hash and eggs. I always order it when I'm at a restaurant. I came across a Chef-Mate brand and decided to make my own corned beef  hash and eggs at home. It came in a 6 pound can that I didn't mind because I have several pint jars that I can fill and stick in the freezer to use at a later date. I wanted to try it several ways to see what what I personally liked. I tried the microwave first. It tasted ok but a little to greasy for my taste. Then I fried it. It was amazing. The hash fried up so crispy, just the way I like it! I like that it's not salty, so I can add my own. I like that the potatoes are not mushy and there is a perfect amount of potato to corned beef. The only thing I didn't is that it pops when you cook it so keep it covered or you will have a mess. That being said.... I will purchase this Chef-Mate corned beef hash again. Crispy corned beef hash!

If you arent familiar with canned meat products, the color is a bit of a shock as it is bright pink. Tasting it straight out of the can it was very good but very greasy. 

Browning it on the stove makes it a more appealing color, but splattered a lot because of the fat. Draining the fat helped with the amount of grease but overall it was still fatty. (Expected from a canned hash though). 
The flavor was great and would be perfect for a gravy. I fried it and had it with eggs and a smashed potato.

Good, greasy but manageable

I was excited to try the corn beef hash as I had corn beef hash at a restaurant and was hoping to recreate the dish.  The 107oz can is a large one, so I put some in containers to freeze for another time.  The corn beef hash has small chunks of potatoes, onions and other seasonings mixed throughout.  It really does have a good flavor, however, the bits of corn beef was smaller then I would have liked.  I guess hash can be like that though.  I mixed the hash into an egg omelette and it came out well and quite tasty. I think I would buy this hash again if it comes in a smaller can. Nice Tasting Hash

This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinion are my own. I enjoyed this product. I think 102 oz is really big. The corned beef hash was good though. It seemed like pretty standard corned beef hash when I compare it to the other corned beef hash I would get in a can. I would say. I wish it was a bit less oily because I did have to pat it out with paper towels because of the amount of fat. Taste wise, its great. The key is making sure you cook it until its crispy, else wise it will be a bit too mushy. It would have me at 5 stars if it was less oily and maybe if the corned beef had been more beef like. I highly recommend it if you are using this for a large group of people or family (if not get a smaller size).

Great for large groups!

The corned beef hash tastes as you would expect it to. It has very fatty meat and a lot of salt (which is to be expected from a canned item) so you can't eat too much at once. It seemed to stay fresh overnight in the fridge with plastic wrap. However, unless you're looking to serve a lot of corned beef hash, it might be a better idea to just buy smaller cans, since the main advantage is being able to prepare a lot without having to open several cans.

Good corned beef hash

This is the first time I have tried this particular brand of hash, and I wasn't too impressed. Upon opening, there was a layer of fatty goo at the top of the can that I had to scrape off before cooking. I frequently eat and purchase a different brand of hash and this brand did not offer the amount of flavor that my usual hash has. Overall, this is a decent basic hash, but it's nothing special.
