This is not only amazing butter chicken. It tastes authentic. It's also one of the best quality frozen dinners I've had. The other companies should take note. The chicken is perfect every time. I wish they would keep it in stock. It's always out!!!!

Best Meal In Frozen Section

This is perhaps the most delicious frozen meal I've ever eaten! Others mention it's spicy or "too spicy," but you will find it mild if you eat actual spicy food of any ethnic type. The flavor of the sauce is fantastic, the rice tastes fresh and the white-meat chicken, though a little dry, is good quality. Shred it up a bit in the sauce, that will do the trick. 

Dear Walmart: Does this company make other dinners besides Butter Chicken?

Divine Butter Chicken

this is the first frozen dinner i've not had to pick out those stringy bits of cartilage (tendons? ligaments? fascia?) from the chicken-- even the nice restaurants sometimes have those. the little tough nubbins at the big end of the chicken finger. this is just pure white meat, very tender, and the flavors are well balanced, a bit spicey but that's expected of this dish. i'll buy it again.

Just delicious! This butter chicken contains ample chicken, rice and sauce. It is so well prepared. In the past , friends who are from India,  have prepared this dish for me.  I consider myself a gourmand during my life.  Now because of my age,  I can no longer prepare elaborate meals.  I am so happy to have this product to buy and quickly eat whenever  I crave good Indian delights. Thank you for making this easy for me. I will try your other products, This butter chicken for me was not overly spiced but just enough with a lovely kick.

A great delicious ample dish

Honestly, I may not be the best judge of Indian food? I probably only eat it out 3-4 times a year.  However, if someone plated this %26 I didn't know it came from a box, I would think it was restaurant food.
 It was that good! I think it may be the best frozen dinner that I've ever had?
The basmati rice was just like I make at home, the sauce was delicious and the chicken tender. I cut the chicken into smaller pieces with a butter knife but probably could have used my fork?
I will definitely be buying more!

DELICIOUS! I usually hate microwave meat but I decided to give this a try because of the positive reviews. Absolutely amazing. The meat is soft and tender and it is very well seasoned. I only wish they have a little less rice and a little more meat sauce. Even though I buy expensive pre-made meals this is my go to lunch on most days.

The Best!

I never write reviews on Walmart, but this was delicious! I've been wanting to try Butter Chicken before attempting to make it. I'm so glad I did. The heat it perfect. The spices are perfect. The food cooked perfectly. I'm always weird about chicken in frozen dishes, because they're always a hit or miss, but this chicken was fantastic. It tasted like it was just cooked. No weird or chewy bits. Juicy and tender. I can't wait to have it again. I do wish there was a bit more sauce, but that's only because it was so good.

I don't usually post reviews, but this meal is amazing. Rice is perfect and fluffy, there was adequate chicken, and the flavor of the sauce had the perfect amount of heat. I'll be buying weekly!

Take out quality meal

This is absolutely the best frozen meal out there. We have been buying these for the last 3 years. My whole family loves them.  The macros are on point as well.  I hope Walmart continues to carry these for a long time.

Best frozen meal ever

My favorite! I usually hate microwaved meat but this is perfect. Everytime. The chicken is tender and delicious and taste and has the texture of actual chicken and not some questionable chicken. But at the price it is now, it makes it not worth it. I was stretching when it went from $3.70 to $4.12 now its over $5. It was just $4.12 not even a week ago because ive been buying 1 or 2 weekly for work meals. Sad. It deserves 4.5 a close 5 stars but the price knocks it down to 3.

Delicious but price isnt worth it.

I've been obsessed with butter chicken lately so I decided to give this one a go. This had more oz than the other brand Ive been eating so i thought it might be a better deal. However its just a heavy helping of rice. The butter chicken was extremely watery and way too much nutmeg. I'm no expert on indian food but from a consumer standpoint all i could taste was nutmeg. The chicken also had a REALLY strange texture. I know with frozen food you the textures are always off but this was super odd. I will definitely not be buying again. I'd rather pay a $1 more for Deep Indian Kitchens butter chicken.
