The value? Scary good 40 packs of chewy chocolate-strawberry madness for less than what you’d pay to exorcise your cravings. The taste is like a haunted chocolate fountain crashed into a strawberry patch. The texture? Soft enough to be mistaken for a ghost hug. Packaging is creepily cool half dark, half classic, like Eleven and a cookie had a crossover. And freshness? Let’s just say these things are sealed tighter than Hawkins Lab secrets.

They were soft, chewy, and the most perfect combination of bitter meets sweet. Each individual package of two cookies proved to be fresh, even weeks later. I would purchase this box again and again, if given the chance.

Ok but bad ratio

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, I just want to say how much my family already loves chips ahoy cookies.  When I saw the new chewy chocolate- strawberry stranger things cookie, my first thought was, "Hmm, this might be interesting." I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor and texture of these cookies. The inside has a strawberry filling, which tastes really good, it's not a very strong flavor. The filling is crumbly like a cookie, so it's like a cookie strawberry filling. It works really well with the chocolate chip cookie overall. I love that I got them in individual packages because my kids can easily take them on the go or add them to their school lunch.

When I opened up the box it also had the original Chewy Chips Ahoy cookies that were included in the box as well. As far as the new Chewy Chocolatey Strawberry Flavored Filled Soft Cookies I can say that I’m honestly not a fan and was expecting them to taste totally different. They weren’t as soft as the package said. The cookies itself was giving a sort of a heavy chocolatey brownie textured taste. When I broke the cookie in half I was expecting the strawberry filling to be like smooth or creamy and not stiff. The taste was drowned out by the taste of the chocolatey cookie. If you’re a huge lover of chocolate you would probably love this new Stranger Things Strawberry Flavored Filled Chips Ahoy Cookie.

Stranger Things Strawberry Filled Cookies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited for these because I am a big fan of fruit flavors mixed with chocolate, but these fell a little short of my expectations. The double chocolate cookie is exactly as I expected from the Chips Ahoy Chewy line - soft, chocolatey, mild artificial flavor that is characteristic of anything marked ‘chewy’. The strawberry filling was the disappointing part. I was expecting something soft or maybe even gooey, but it was just a firm layer of frosting. Think hardened icing on a store-bought birthday cake. The strawberry flavor is very artificial, but also a bit mild and gets lost after the first bite. I thought maybe putting these in the microwave for a few seconds would soften up the filling, but all that did was melt the chocolate chips. These came in little 2 packs and in every single one, the cookies were smashed together and hard to separate. I’m glad that I tried them, but I would not purchase them again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the chips ahoy multi pack. The pack had 20 stranger things cookies (10 packs of 2 cookies) & 60 regular chocolate chip cookies. Both flavors were soft baked. The chocolate chip were great! The stranger things cookies were a chocolate cookie with a strawberry filling. The cookie was a bit dry & the middle was definitely strawberry but it did have an artificial flavored taste. Overall, they were decent but not my favorite.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try the Chips Ahoy! Chocolatey Strawberry Flavored Filled soft cookies. The cookies came in a beautifully designed box to advertise Stranger Things. Tasting the cookies for the first time had my mouth watering, and the flavor was out of this world. If you are someone who enjoys chocolate covered strawberries you will love these cookies. They have the nice chewy texture but hold so much goodness in each cookie. I would recommend these cookies to anyone who likes to experience new flavor profiles.
