Bestway TANX 8' x 24" Round Above Ground Stock Tank Pool

I've been following the Stock Tank pool craze for several years. My husband wanted to spend $5-$6,000 for a cowboy pool set up and I just couldn't do it. I saw this and was cautiously optimistic when I ordered. It arrived quickly and was easy to set up. I did most of it myself, only needed a little help to set up the rolled tin properly. Once connected, I filled it up and had a few minor leaks at the connnections; I slowly hand tightened and the leaks have ceased. The pump doesn't move the water quickly, however, it does move it enough. I love the timer so I don't have to worrry about forgetting to turn the pump on. One 3 inch chlorine tablet every 2 weeks and my water in crystal clear. Very satisfied customer!!

I ordered this pool on the 26th of May. it is now August 5th. knowing what I know now: yes! absolutely buy it... but I would highly recommend a 2nd liner. The Bestway Liner has a foam bottom and super thin sides that tear and leak easily. Vevor brand makes a thick, darker blue (warmer water) liner that not only sits perfectly over the foam bestway liner but keeps water in the pool rather than leaking at the gasket/skimmer/hose area. I would also suggest to place at minimum a Tarp under the pool as a vapor liner because about 60 days later the most awful stench from dying and rotting grass occured. Buy a better cover. The bestway is perforated which means this winter this pemanent install above ground pool will have snow in it. All in all I have probably spent an additional $300 to get the pool and the surrounding area up to par. Which is roughly two nights in a 4 star hotel. The investment is worth it.....but be prepared!
