23k miles tread depth is still at 10!  That's only part of my love of these tires.  My gas mileage improved over the manufactures tires by 1 mile per gallon.  These are quiet, comfortable and no road noise.  I'm not a big off road person but, when I need to be off road I am not disappointed with the traction and handling.  Driving in rain and snow is infrequent yet they handle as well as dry roads.  These are perfect for my life style.  Love the trail-terrain!!!

Perfect for highway and some off road

Excellent tire. It's quiet for typical highway driving at speeds. It rides smooth like the factory offerings. Traction on highway has been good, even on wet roads. Offroad it does everything I need it to do. It also balances out nice, as far as the road feel. I did favor the Nitto Grappler G2's, but they are discontinued, so I chose these as a replacement. So far I am more happy with these. Much quieter and smoother than the G2's, and they are balanced.
I have a 2wd Ram 1500. I kayak fish, so I needed something to handle off pavement driving, but I'm not looking to stick my truck in the bogs of the way-back. Just some sand and gravel and occasional boat ramps, and so far they are great. I've only had them for 4 or 5 months, and I've made several 500+ mile trips. So far so good. I'll probably buy another set for my work truck.

New Favorite

Put a set of P225/65/R17 Trail Terrain TA's on my wife's 2022 Ford Bronco Sport Badlands Edition suv as the larger All Terrain K02's runon my F150 4x4 truck aren't available in this size. After the first 4000 miles, we are very pleased with the ride, grip, handling, and minimal noise. They got us through a very rough mountain winter with ease.

Good quality tires

I picked up a set of Trail Terrains for my 2022 Ford Explorer. I did a bunch of research before I bought these and was somewhat concerned by some reviews saying the tires were poor on ice. I have not found this to be true. I mostly drive in NW Wisconsin and Northern Minnesota and there has been plenty of snow and ice covering the roads this year. IMO the tires have performed well. Very low road noice, good handling in all conditions. I would buy these tires again.

Great on-road all-terrains

I have about 15,000 miles on these 2019 Expedition Heavy Tow. Have had several different BFG tires on my SUVs over the yrs. My Sequoia had Rugged Terrains before they were discontinued those we're heavier, louder and definitely not as smooth especially in cold temps. Then I put Advantage T/A on the Sequoia which were far better Highway tires but definitely missing sipping for really good snow performance but they were ok in snow.

The new Trail Terrains definitely found the sweet spot between super heavy A/T and not enough A/T. They are way superior to the stock Hancook oem tire Ford had on the Expedition which was absolutely lousy in wet and snow. 

The Trail Terrains were only about 1mpg impact over the low rolling resistance OEM highway tires. But massively huge improvement in foul weather performance. By far my top favorite BFG so far. 

Very curious to see the new KO I had those on my Landcruiser years ago. Crazy heavy tires but super tough. Too much tire for my Ford Expedition needs.

Great A/T without the mileage and road performance hit

I bought these tires for my 2019 Ram 1500 and love them!  I drive daily on a mixture of paved and gravel roads and the tires have a very smooth ride.  The ride quality is excellent on the highway with minimal road noise.  I barely hear the low hum at speeds between 70-80 mph.   Long term I can't comment on wear since I've only had the tires for about 1500 miles.  I expect they will do well in the Michigan winters here based on how well they have been in some heavy rain.

Great ride!

Just spent 3 days in the Tahoe Basin with these tires.   I wasn't sure how well they would do but I was utterly surprised.   Long story told short....  I arrived in Tahoe after 11.5hrs of delays in the Sierras because of avalanches and accidents.   (Typically a 4hr trip)
Made it to our Tahow house at 4am.  The streets were 2ft deep in fresh snow.  We drove through this deep powder at 4am in the dark and getting stuck was NOT an option we cared to experience. 
Our 2001 Toyota 4Runner 4WD with CLD plowed slowly and surely. Stopped when we needed to and regained traction and continued on. 
The 2023 Super Storms in California were the perfect snow test. I highly recommend these tires.  IG @calspeed

California Super Storms 2023 / 3rd Gen 4Runner

I got these tires just before fall late July or August and we really didn't have a heavy winter so I can't tell you how they handle on the snow. I live in the city and it handled really good on black ice going super slow. A little bit more gas than I normally would with Progressive radial tires instead of aggressive beefy tires, but that's what I wanted and I'm satisfied. It's almost spring time 2026 and I will definitely be taking her off road to see how those tires handle. BFGoodrich will have to send me another review in six months to see how my spring and summer went with the brand new tires.

I Love My Beefy Tires 🛞

2yrs 10,000 miles later cracks developed on one tire. Only put on around 5k year so yes sits most of the time especially winter months. Tire pressures never below 35psi or above 42psi welll cared for vehicle with tire rotations every 5k. Had to replace myself as dealership took different ownership year later of so after purchase and time restrictions dictated sooner than later. Probably just a one off as other three are perfect. They are very quite and smooth but warning if you have low gearing vehicle wet traction will suffer.

Durability problem

These tires are very hard to balance on Toyota Tacoma rims. Too much weight is needed and they hop.
I've had to try and get them balanced three times. I just have to deal with it, I guess.
All four brand new tires have side-to-side play. Makes my truck bounce.
Not happy with them for the price point.
