BEEF SMOKIES 3 LB

Opened up a package of Beef Little Smokies and all of the links has something brown sticking out of the end, or 4 brown spots in a pattern like some kind of manufacturing process . Couldn't see anything on the inside. Very unappetizing, threw the entire package away.

What happened to your Smokies? I used to put them in my red beans, but not anymore. They are too soft And I dont want them for breakfast. I have no use for them anymore. I hope you don't change your Polsa Kielbasa recipe. If you do, then I will no longer buy your products.

These are so good. My family loves these so much! Great texture and are definitely a favorite! No aftertaste and they store for a long time in the fridge! Not that they ever last that long in my house

We roast these over the camp fire as a late night snack every time we go camping. We have a big group and will go through 3-4 packs a night. We held a taste test because some people brought different brands and the unanimous decision was Beef Litl Smokies were the clear winner for best taste. That was comparing between flavors (turkey, etc.) and between brands (Eckrich, Johnsonville, etc.).

Great for camp fires

2 years ago I could have given a definite 5 star rating. The beef Smokey sausage was excellent and we purchased them EVERY WEEK (52 weeks) YEARLY for at least 10 years. We noticed, in 2024, a flavor change. Not sure whether there were ingredient changes, but THE TASTE WAS near TERRIBLE. My entire family noticed. We thought maybe just a bad batch from Kroger's. But more purchases, no matter the different stores, there was that bitter taste & no longer the authentic beefy taste of legitimately smoked meat. Also the lighter appearance of the BEEF Smokies is different than before, but looks as if dark entry point shots of possibly liquid smoke flavoring is now added. Overall a great disappointment now for my grandkids most of all... No mini kolaches, BBQ Smokies or Kiddie spaghetti.

It use to be i could buy any Hillshire farms product and know it was quality.   Today  nope   we just tossed more then half a package of lit'l smokes.   It was like a miracle everyone had multiple bone chips!!! totally inedible!!!!!!!! you expect that once in awhile but not from just about every sausage in a package!!!!!

I have to agree with Stepanie's review from a couple weeks ago.  I boiled these up to go with our breakfast, and the casing was falling off when I took them out of the pan.  My husband asked what is that weird film on them.  My German Shepard enjoyed them.

I used to love these ..... as I've gotten older, my tolerance for food additives, preservatives, and flavor enhancers  has diminished... these give me the WORST migraines. Please consider making an all-natural/organic alternative without monosodium glutamate and nitrites/nitrates - perhaps uncured?  The people of the world with food sensitivities would love you for it!  I miss pigs in a blanket and crockpot bbq smokies so much!!  Alas, a bite of smoky goodness is definitely not worth the unrelenting pain, nausea, brain fog, and vertigo....

Love, but steer clear if sensitive to additives

Sure enough, bought them to make bbq smokies as I always do for Thanksgiving and there is a skin or casing on them that is gelling falling off in the sauce.  Absolutely unappetizing.  Extremely disappointed and after reading others having the same issue and also bone and gristle, it my unfortunately be time to move on.

The new beef little smokies are more like Vienna sausages. Slimy and gross. The appearance is off, texture is off and the flavor is off.

New product change is not appealing. At all!
