I bought a few of these device along time ago when Sam's first introduce it. It worked very well. I did some modification for the one that sits home to extend the WiFi. I highly recommend buying. The OTC website was selling them for $100 when they first came out. This is a great Xmas gift.

Love this device

Worked from the moment I got it! Used it not long after receiving it, used all the functions with no problem including making my own wifi hot spot and creating a password.

Now wherever I am traveling I have a Wi-Fi hotspot in my pocket. And I can increase the storage capacity with a new SD micro card and a regular SD card. Easy to use.

Great product excellent price

Bought 3 of these for Christmas presents to go with 2 Gig Passport hard drives. It is basically a wireless router so you and other people around the device can share the information on, a hard drive, memory stick of almost any size or hard wire into any existing network. It will read any file but you will have some limitation on playing file. That will be the way the files we formatted and the limitations of the player in the device. You might have to down load some different players to get the best comparability. Try the MX player from android. It will also work as a power "brick" to charge other devices through a USB port.

She loves it

Multiple functions, all work, powered mine from a USB hub and using Ethernet cable plugged into my DSL modem/router, and configured as a router to create a wireless hotspot.
The WiFi radio seems a bit weak on signal level, but that was not the original purpose for purchasing the OTG Cloud.

I have tried two different devices and neither will allow WIFI connection
to the device after the SSID is changed and a password added. I have had
no luck so far and getting an answer to this issue with Monster.

Password feature won't work

For the available functions, you can purchase devices that cost much less. It is not reliable enough to use as a wireless router. WiFi performance is inexplicably inconsistent. Network connection for sharing files and saving files also does not work well. That is the one function I would use most often, but it makes the device more brick than just power brick because the network function is so unreliable. The concept sounds good, but the actual device does not live up to expectations. In addition to the product performance issues, it is far from user-friendly. I have never had any problem setting up and using any electronic networking device. This still does not do what is is supposed to be doing.

Difficult to use and poor performance

Only had for a few months. Battery puffed up to three times size and popped open the case. Now its useless. Was cheap to begin with, so no big loss. Don't buy. I got nearly no use out of the product.
