Purchased a VIZIO 65" about 5 years ago and decided it was time to upgrade. I had never had a problem with my 65 so decided to continue with VIZIO. Glad I did, this 80" picture and resolution is amazing and not to mention great value. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

Amazing picture, JUST LOVE IT!!!!

I bought this for my husband for Father's day and he loves it. He did not download the chrome cast app since we have netflix on our cable box but he loves the TV. He picture snd sound is great and I love that you don't hear the tv click on and off. This is the 2nd vizio we have bought and I couldn't be happier with our choice.

I've had the TV now for a few weeks and am very impressed with the quality of the picture and the quality of the sound plus the quickness of the apps and the almost instant on when you turn the TV on is so great its hard to believe that Vizio can pack so much in such a thin TV body and it is only 34 pounds. Great job Vizio

Awesome picture

I bought this on May 4th and Delivery  was screwed up till May 31st...Sam's outsourcing home delivery. They weren't doing anything till I called.  Just upset that mother's day was ruined. I would have paid extra for express delivery but the service could located my TV...Hahahaha how can you not find an 80” TV!!!

The TV is perfect once it arrived. The wife loved it as it was here dream to finally get a large screen into our house. It's faster and easy to set up.. it updated the operating systems once the internet was connected.  Had to buy an Ultra HDMI cable get a great picture.

Overall worth the money... delivery is the worst I had ever had especially when you spend thousands of dollars for a TV and takes almost a whole month to get!

Late mother's day gift

I bought the Vizio E55-E2 in August along with a Vizio sound bar and I am very pleased with the products.  The picture and sound are great.  I had a little trouble setting up the Smartcast, but the technical support was great and got me up and running.  I also have two other Vizio TV's that I have had for years and have had no problems with them.  I will always be a Vizio customer.

Great Product

Before this TV I owned a Vizio E-series 70” LED HD(2013 model). This 80” 4K UHD is a little brighter and picture quality is slightly better. However, saying slightly better/brighter and adding 10”, while keeping a very low price tag, is saying a lot. I didn't need a tuner, so that didn't bother me. Looks great hanging on the wall. Works as advertised and the cast app works fine, as well as smart TV features via the remote. Not a lot to it, and there's definitely better 80” TV's out there, but they'll cost you nearly twice as much. This monitor fits all my needs, picture looks great, and the price was low. That said, I did take out the four year extended warranty through Sams Club just to be safe. ;) Happy with my purchase.

Quality for the price

Took advantage of a one-day sale on a whim and couldn't be more pleased. You will need to use 4k UHD HDMI cables and a 4k Blu-ray player to really take full advantage of the picture quality, but the picture quality is outstanding. The embedded Netflix and YouTube connectivity makes viewing video from these sites a breeze. The enclosed TV legs/stand don't look too sturdy, but I mounted on the wall so not an issue for me. The remote that comes with the TV is very simplistic so I'm using the universal remote that came with the Bose soundbar I added, or the remote that comes with the Dish Hopper. Both are much more useful. Can't go wrong for the price. No regrets at all.

VIZIO Entertainment Expert

The peak brightness is less than that of the old plasma it is replacing. Also there is pretty significant dimming is all of the corners. That said, there is significant less glare on the TV, even though we have some large bright windows (was a big problem with the plasma). So for now the trade off is worth it.

Could be Brighter

Often the WiFi connection drops and when switching from different inputs back to the display the whole TV needs a soft power cycle. When it works, however, the picture is beautiful. Unfortunately because the connection drops so often I have to use another device to watch Netflix/Hulu/Amazon

Great picture but can be a hassle

I bought this a few months ago and after getting it set up realized that sending 1080P HDR content to it from a PC, PS4 or Xbox1 resulted in incorrect color reproduction and a seeming green shift. This occurs cabled directly to the source without a receiver (also occurs with a receiver). Vizio replaced the set under warranty but the replacement set does exactly the same thing. If you want 1080P HDR, don't buy this set.
