Love everything about my new Chapion generator. Just connect to propane tank turn the dial press rhe start button it couldn't be easier than that. Lot quieter than my old generator. Love the handle makes it easy to maneuver. Bought for home backup during power outages.

I purchased the Champion Power Equipment 4500-Watt Electric Start Dual Fuel RV Ready Portable Inverter Generator with Quiet Technology and CO Shield to use for home backup due to power outages.
The unit seems to be well made and I'm surprised how quiet it is.
I used propane fuel for the 5 hour break-in and varied the load as advised.
It started on the first attempt out of the box, after adding oil.

Great Unit!!!

This review is based on the  five hour break in period. I used propane for the break in, and it started right up. am really pleased with level of sound produced even when under a load. Plugged in our camper and started the air conditioner, worked great! When changing the oil after the break in I didn’t spill one drop thanks to the drain hose. We are going to Alaska this summer and looking forward to using this generator quite a bit.

Champion 4500 Dual Fuel Inverter

Great little inverter generator with super easy service. Simple break in and ready to go. Very little debris from the engine. Did I mention quiet? Can't really notice the sound even on the front porch. Very happy so far.

Enjoy the ease of starting this generator and the run time when using propane. This will complement my previous Champion generators on site and backup. Reliable product.

Rev it up!

Very easy set up: up and running on propane within 30 mins. Easy to start, easy oil change (did it at 10pm by flashlight). I can secure generator by looping chain around handle and another large stationary item. I used it during hurricane, we were without power for 10 days. It ran the fridge and freezer with zero load, added box fans and 2 lamps,  still with no load. I even got to blow dry my hair. Walmart delivered item quickly, in good condition. The generator is quiet, compared with an open frame. It does need ventilation, otherwise the CO2 monitor will kick in and shut it off. It did this twice before I found the right balance between security and ventilation.
