We have only had the tires on the car for a week, but at this point, I’m very satisfied with their performance, they’re quiet, smooth, and which is kind of surprising as they were the least expensive tires available in their size. Also, with the best stated mileage warranty of 50+ thousand miles. Although I had to order them, as they were not presently in stock at that time. An installation appointment was quickly made once they had arrived at my Sam’s Club.   Installation went without a hitch.

I have had the tires for 3 weeks. They are fine so far.

I had a 12:00PM scheduled appointment and didn't and didn't receive my car until 2:15PM. All that had to be done was install and balance 4 tires. Two days later a wheel weight fell off the car and wedged in the brake rotor causing a rubbing and screeching in the left front wheel. I had to take it to my garage to have it service and balance all the wheels again. Not a good experience.

Cooper Prolongation Tires Review – Disappointing Experience in Minnesota/Wisconsin

I recently used Cooper Prolongation tires in Minnesota and Wisconsin, and my experience was deeply frustrating. These tires came with a 70,000-mile warranty, which gave me high expectations for durability and performance.

 Unfortunately, they were completely worn out at just 33,000 miles, down to the wear bars, rendering them unsafe and unusable.

From the start, these tires were the loudest I’ve ever encountered, producing a constant roar that made every drive feel like a chore. The ride quality was equally poor—lumpy and uneven, reminiscent of driving on old wooden wagon wheels. This wasn’t just a minor annoyance; it significantly detracted from the driving experience, making long trips exhausting and unpleasant.

Living in Minnesota and Wisconsin, I deal with varied road conditions, including harsh winters, wet springs, and hot summers. I expected these tires to hold up under typical driving habits, but they fell far short. At 33,000 miles, they were done, despite being marketed for longevity. When I contacted Cooper about the warranty, I was shocked to learn there was no coverage, despite the tires failing well before the promised 70,000 miles. The lack of support left me feeling cheated.

In my years of driving, I’ve never had a tire perform this poorly. The combination of premature wear, excessive noise, rough ride, and zero warranty backing makes these tires a regrettable purchase. For anyone considering Cooper Prolongation tires, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere—save yourself the headache and invest in something more reliable.

**Cons**: Worn out at 33,000 miles, extremely loud, rough and lumpy ride, no warranty coverage despite 70,000-mile claim.
**Rating**: 1/5 – Avoid at all costs.
