These tire are a perfect fit for the area in which I live in for all types of weather.

Great tire

Wanted to wait until I had encountered heavy rain and snow to give the tires a fair review. Have about 4K on a full set and am very pleased. Quiet and gentle riding, the tires give my Highlander excellent traction and stability. I have had to make two panic stops, one on dry pavement when the car was loaded with tools and once in heavy rain; both times the tires gripped very well and helped me avoid collision. This weekend went to the mountains and encountered about 6 inches of snow with a little freezing rain and was very comfortable with the tire performance - lots of traction helping maintain control at all times. My wife's car is due another set of tires and I will probably go with these because of their excellent performance.

I was a little unsure at first after reading all of the reviews about the noise. After the new tires were put on my Honda Accord I immediately tried them at highway speeds. The noise level is no different than the tires they replaced. It's only October in South Dakota but looking forward to the upcoming winter weather just to try these out. For now the steering feels lighter and very precise and sharp with these tires.

So Far So Good

I bought these tires 2 days before a major snow storm. I could not believe the grip they had in the terrible driving conditions. I felt totally in control while driving, even when driving through a snow squall that dumped a lot of snow, very quickly! I also drove on them in dry conditions. They delivered a very comfortable, smooth ride with precise cornering. I highly recommend these tires!

Excellent tire!

My 2018 Audi SQ5 came with 21" summer performance tires. Perrelli PZero summer tires. The first snow had us sliding all over the place even with Audi's Quatro system. Stopping was very difficult and needed advanced slowing down to make sure we would stop. The traction control working feverishly to prevent lockup and sliding. I went online looking for a pure winter tire when I stumbled on these Weather Ready tires from Good Year. They are designed to be driven all year round and have an actual "winter" rating, unlike "All weather" tires that are just so so in the snow. The next storm was upon us soon after I got these. The difference is dramatic. Stopping was no problem, even though spirited driving can produce sliding, the feeling of security was very reassuring. The driving feel was a little, for lack of words, a little "Truck" like, compared to the Pirrelli's. Totally acceptable though. Now you only need one set of wheels year round. 65,000 Mile warranty as well!

New hybrid tire from Good Year

Had these installed at the end of January, just the day before leaving on a long vacation. Was able to compare the traction on my fairly steep driveway covered with ice. The OEM tires, could never quite make it up in one attempt, but the Goodyear's did it in one. I returned from the end of a month long vacation of 3215 miles and had a chance to to experience driving various road conditions. No question that these tires had a much better grip In heavy rain then the OEM tires on our Buick Enclave. The noise level was acceptable on most road surfaces as were the OEM tires. I did notice on concrete bridge surfaces, they were somewhat louder. A friend, who is looking for new tires was impressed with the smoothness and quality of the ride. Probably a difference in vehicles as compared to his bigger Infiniti Q80. I did recommend the Goodyear's.

Very satisfied - a 5 star review (but they are new!)

I have had the Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady on my 2105 Tiguan for about two months now. Overall it seems to be a very good tire. Ride is comfortable, don't seem to be very noisy, with the multiple rainy days we have had, the grip was spot on. Haven't had any snow yet to test then on. The only difference I can detect between my new tires and the OEM ones that were replaced are a bit more body roll when turning.

Comfortable Riding Tire

Replaced the Pirelli 4 seasons plus on my '09 Sienna. Only have 2000 miles on them so far. The improvement in traction compared to an all-season tire is extreme and immediately obvious. These tires handled the recent ice, rain, slush and snowpack flawlessly. Confident handling, braking and acceleration. These tires are more quiet than the Pirellis, and I have not noticed a decrease in MPG. I've purposely try to get the vehicle to skid around turns on snow packed roads, and have not been able to do so. I'm very happy with these tires and have recommended them to several friends.

Great tire!

Good experience at store. Second set of these tires - one for wife and one for me - that I have purchased from this store. Tires handle well - wet or dry conditions. They were purchased for use in Florida with lots of heavy rain. BUT these tires are noisier than "standard" tires. Have not used them on ice or snow. Its a personal tradeoff based on purpose and driving conditions.

Weatherteady

This is the loudest most obnoxious tire I have ever had, and the replacement comes in second for the same reason. They sound like studded snow tires on a half-track and we are stuck with them. Never fear...all of our friends hear our XRS coming a block away and I get to explain what Goodyear did to us. I am a 34 year retiree with plenty buddies to warn. There are plenty other brands out there and we will be changing to one of them as soon as we can get rid of this junk.
