[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TV is lovely, stand was a bit of a faff to assemble but otherwise straightforward. TV is almost too smart and it's easy to get lost in the complex UI. But the picture quality is brilliant, the colours pop and we're very happy with this purchase.

Awesome TV

Excellent picture quality and the sound is not bad when I don't run it through my amplifier.  
The remote took a couple of trys to get use to- just make sure you have a steady hand when making your selection.  This is my first LG tv purchase but last year's version of the 65 inch was rated at the top in Consumers Reports.  I have other LG products in our kitchen refrigerator, dishwasher, and  microwave.  They alll perform very well and purchased them to replace other products that stopped working and all highly rated in Consumers Reports.  Excellent  colors, blacks, and Chromes.  Sharpness  and Motion spot on.  Watching a UHD Blu-ray DVD is A treat as well as streaming!

Excellent UHD 65" TV choice!

I had the E6 and this is on the same level if not better of being the high end tv on a modest to high end budget. If only the new LG sound system was affordable this would be the perfect home cinema set up. Highly recommend.

Absolutely great picture

We have our living room window opposite the tv on one side and wall lights on the other and have always had to put up with the fact we can see both at times. This is no longer the case with this LG tv. The picture is sharp and bright even for viewing sports. The price was reasonable too compared to any of the competitors for this quality.

Exceptional TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the same Sony Bravia HD TV since 2013 and thought it was time for an upgrade. I spent hours looking at the pros and cons of OLED vs mini led and different models from Samsung, Panasonic, Sony and LG. I had looked at my personal space and decided I did not want anything over 50 inches and many companies only seem to start their high end models from 55 inches onwards. I decided on the LG for a number of reasons - it was OLED at 48 inches, it had significantly higher peak brightness than many other OLEDs and also had four HDMI 2.1 connections, which allows me to game on it via my pc. I am very impressed with the TV, the picture is clear and sharp, with great colour accuracy in filmmaker mode - there is no issue with response time in games and the upscaling, even on old DVDs is great. As it was not much more than the C5 I decided to get the flagship and am very happy with my choice.

A significant upgrade

But I find the "Magic" remote control trolley unnecessarily complicated and confusing. I have 3 other tvs and the controls are much simpler with dedicated fast forward,rewind, pause and stop buttons. Also the on line user manual has very limited information - I had to resort to searching for YouTube videos to fathom it out.

Great tv - Remote Control not so much!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would have given this G5 TV six stars but for the useless sound coming from the TV. No matter what setting using Hi speed cables, the speech and surround sounds are a muffle at best. 
The picture quality is beautiful and anything in UHD will blow you away. 
Settings for sound could be hugely improved with an update. It is no secret to owners that the wow orchestra setting is nxt best thing to hopeless. For the price I expected more flexibilty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought as a second TV after buying and being really impressed with a  OLED55G56LS.  The OLED48G56LS is a different design rather than just a smaller panel and nowhere as good a picture.  Be aware and cautious if you only see the 55.
