Was given Pork Barrel BBQ sauce as a gift earlier this year. Decided to try the rub after seeing the great price on Sam's. Make some baby back ribs instead of the normal holiday Turkey or ham. Family was not disappointed at all. Great flavor!!! Even used the seasoning on a tri tip this weekend.

We are hosting our 17th Biennial family reunion in Alabama for the first time ever and I wanted my family members to have a sample of the delicious food that Alabama is known for. Pulled Pork is one of those dishes that I had never had until I moved here so I am including a 4 oz bottle of the Pork Barrel rub and a recipe for pulled pork in my welcome box. I think they are going to love it.

Best all purpose rub I have used. Straight up on chicken but cut half and half with brown sugar for pork.

Awesome rub for the price

Great on all forms of pork from roasts to chops. When I was out of this I used steak seasoning, but this is truly meant to enhance pork (on the grill, in the oven, even with deep frying!)

Great for barbecues and other ways of making pork

I disagree with at least the 1 star review of course everyone's tastes are different. I've smoked a lot over the years and used several different rubs and I really like the flavor of this one. I used it on a couple of pork shoulders and some chicken and they turned out great! One word of caution, it will be a bit salty if you use too much. Definitely worth trying!

Great rub, one of my family's favorites on pork and chicken. Unfortunately not carried at my local club so I order online.

We got a winner.  I have tried 9rubs and this is the best.   Mix it with a little brown sugar for the best pulled pork of your life.

Product is fabulous that's why I ordered it however shipping was TERRIBLE!!! I ordered for a Friday delivery and never received it until the following Tuesday. Please STOP using FedEx. I needed my product on Saturday and had to purchase more elsewhere because this never showed.
