My family goes through a lot of sour cream. And Daisy is our favorite brand to use.  So, when I saw this big container I decided to buy one to see how long it would last with my family.  I also did use some to make a sour cream pound cake as well.  But, definitely non went to waste with my family.  So, unless they are out of this size then I would purchase the 3 lb size from Sam's.

5 lb Daisy Sour Cream

I rarely am a label shopper. After all, one brand is like another, right? Wrong! Daisy Sour Cream has a flavor the others do not. This is one time I'll spend the extra money for a top label

This is the best value for sour cream out there in my area. Most places charge near $2 per 16 oz. container around here. You can find it on sale for about $1.50, but not very often. At $1.50 per 16 ounces, that would be $7.50 for 5 pounds, the amount you get here with this purchase. Compare your Sam's price to that. I save several dollars over sale price by purchasing this from Sam's. No coupons needed. Daisy has impeccable quality. How else can a dairy from Texas have near nationwide distribution of a product? They make high quality sour cream. I do like Anderson Erickson sour cream as it has a better flavor, but around here, even the 5# container is nearly $10 and is never on sale. Sam's has some of the best dairy prices around. The savings more than pays for my membership every year!

Worth the money

This big tub usually lasts about 2 months and it's great if you go through a lot of sour cream. Definitely worth the investment in the long run.

Love the Daisy Sour Cream. We use it in our weekend scrambled-egg burritos and in our dinner time burritos. It's the very best!

The Very Best

Daisy sour cream blended with sharp cheddar gave a wonderful twangy favor to corn casserole for Thanksgiving.

This sour cream was awful!  Is was ‘separated” and no amount of stirring would bring it back.  It just caused it to be totally liquid. I had to throw it out!
