The best box cutters are also the safest ones.</p> <h3>Safety First!</h3> <p>While this pocket knife features a safe, retractable design, it still requires safe handling because this is one of the sharpest pocket knife brands out on the market. Interestingly, one of the first rules in box cutter safety is to keep the blade sharp. This is because sharp blades will cut, while dull blades will only tug and pull. This means a dull blade is much more likely to cause a slip of the hand and a cut to your fingers or wrist. Whenever a blad becomes dull, replace the blade with a new, sharp blade. I used these waayyy back when I was in retail clerks union.  great for cutting up boxes and the more you use it the better and faster you get at cutting up the boxes. now I save the flaps to use in boxes when packing
