Very easy to assemble, though having the help of another person  makes it easier as an extra set of arms helps.

Sturdy solution to storage

I am pleased with the overall quality of this item. It is a good value.

Beware that with 5 particle board shelves and all steel components packed in one small box, the box is heavy. The bag busters at FedEx ground must have dropped this box several times as it arrived with a broken carton, 3 cracked particle board shelves, and one missing piece of shelf support. Fortunately I called the manufacturer customer support line and they cheerfully are sending me new parts at no charge. I would buy again from Edsal. It is very easy to assemble but recommend sealing the particle board shelves with varnish prior to assembly to prevent liquid absorption from spills.

Heavy

Got this in the mail and it's actually "Muscle Rack" brand. Honestly was scared cause I read reviews that just about everyone has returned theirs cause they were flimsy and didn't assemble well. All wrong! You need a rubber mallet to lock in the shelves and it's perfect and sturdy! Goes up in minutes! I would recommend to a friend!

I had purchased 3 of the larger grey shelves and they are wonderful and sturdy. I just got two of the smaller ones and the metal is the same and the particle board is just thinner. They're exacting what I need for the location. Best buy around on any kind of shelfing. The ones I had gotten before are atleast 10+ years and I expect the new ones to last the same.

Easy to assemble, strong and a good value. Exactly what I wanted.

Great Product

I'm pretty handy but this “no tools needed” shelving unit caused a lot of cussing and the use of a hammer and the need for an extra set of hands. Once together, it was fine - except for the corner that broke off the particle board during shipping. It was too much of a hassle to send it back so I used that one for the top shelf.

It's a good unit but not “tool free assembly”

These are good. I don't like the pressboard shelves but that's all that was available

Good enough

I did not care for the particle board shelves as I worry about them getting wet and warping. The shelf overall is well made and replacement boards should be reasonable if they needed replacing. For the money, it is great storage.

It took forever for the shelf to arrive, well over a month. When we were putting it together, it was extremely difficult to get the 2 height bars together without overlap. We ended up making it a 4 shelf instead of 5 because of the difficulty.

I ordered a shelf rack and received it the box all damage and the rack wasent what I ordered it was light duty not heavy duty like it was pictured , I have a heavy duty shelf rack all ready and the I recuieved is no comparison. And that's why I thought it cost more.
