Last summer and again this year we bought this with great anticipation but can't open the dang jar.  We don't have a pipe wrench big enough to open it with.  Help.

Can't open the jar -

I bought the gallon off B&G Sauerkraut for my New Years family dinner. It was horrible.   I did nothing different than I have for 50 years that we loved but this jar had an off taste as everyone graciously agreed.  Why????  We usually have every bite eaten instead I threw away over 3/4 of the gallon jar.  It ruined my beautiful pork roast

I will never buy this again ....Glass jar that is nearly impossible to open. Its 2018 there are many other options for packaging.
