Ordered online during a special sale and couldn't be happier with the ease of setup and picture quality.  This was a size upgrade from a Vizio and happy with the decision.

Great TV for the price

WOW! I can't believe how bad my old TV picture was! This picture is fantastic! Also, it comes on instantly. I didn't realize that waiting for the TV to come on wasn't normal LOL  Why did I wait so long to get such fantastic viewing?

Excellent

I stood for a good 15 minutes and watched the same thing on 4 different TVs. The picture quality is much better on the TCL than the LG, Samsung, or Hisense. The TCL is also the best price and comes with a 3-year warranty.

Best Quality, Best Price

Honestly, I was looking for "better" name brands...because of the huge sale, I took a chance and was especially (pleasantly) surprised! Picture is awesome - looks better than our 50" Samsung TV this replaced! Sound is Amazing - bass is perfect (noticeable, but not too loud)! And I absolutely LOVE the interface!! My only regret? That I missed the sale and only got 1!

Whoa! Unexpectedly blown away!

These were a great buy! Pictures are awesome, TV is light weight, and the price is ridiculously low!!!

I bought Two !

TV has excellent picture quality. The channels that come built in are awesome! The only downside I see is the availability of some apps, other than that, it's well worth the pur hase.

Great TV

The tv has a great picture, has several type of movies when connected to internet/router. 
I have noticed on screen that there is a glare from from the lamp with a shade on it beside me.

GREAT TV BUT HAS SOME GLARE

I bought this tv after my Roku TV just wouldn't turn on after I bought it barely two years ago, mysteriously at Christmas.  Imagine that. Just understand that TVs are made to be replaced, don't expect anything to last.  Planned Obsolescence.  Anyway, the price on the tv was good, about 269.00 when I bought it.  Looks nice.  It was easy to put together, but be careful with screw and plastic pieces, it's cheap plastic.  This is a smart tv, which I'm not a fan of and I withheld having one for 8 years (because they gather and transmit data) which is why the three stars which I'll explain in a minute.  I'm not a super fan of google either, this is a Google TV.  Roku's quality has gone down and I'm done with them.  Its uses Android as the operating system.  The OS looks nice on the screen but it's clunky and not very smooth or responsive...that's android.  I"m biased, I like Apple.  My biggest compliant is that it being a smart TV doesn't play with other peripherals with CEC.  I have an apple tv I use for the center of my at home digital life/streaming.  I also have an xbox hooked up to the tv.  This TV does not play well with others.  This is why I don't like smart tv...the OS wants to be the boss with CEC and everything else.  My apple tv/google tv don't play well together when switching inputs, turning it/off, the google tv remote controls half the apple tv, but not all, etc.  It's clunky.  I can't limit google TV's permissions/options enough to make it work.  Don't get me wrong, it works, but it's clunky.  My apple tv is the primary device, not google tv.  That's why I had a Roku tv, because it was just a giant monitor without smart tech messing it all up. Currently, I have CEC off on the google tv and just switch inputs and on/off manually..which is fine but not preferable with tech being so advanced these days.  I won't be slaved to Goggle TV, I only have it because of a few apps we can't get on apple tv my wife likes.  If it weren't for that, I'd have it logged out and wifi off.  Other than that, time will tell of it's quality, but its a nice looking tv.  The price was right.  The biggest thing I like..the picture is amazing.  It really is.  The best picture on any TV I've owned. 
 The dolby vision works good.  The built in speakers are good enough you don't need a sound bar i think...sounds good on my xbox.  So, it IMO doesn't play well with other streaming or smart devices.  It doesn't work well with my apple set up.  But if your not obsessive compulsive about CEC, etc. and everything working together nicely, it's  a solid choice.  If you like google or android products, you'll like the TV.  If your not plugging in an apple tv, etc. you should like the tv.

Good picture, but a few tech issues.

We wanted something that was below $300, which translates to a sacrifice of performance. I think the problem is that it is a Class 4 TCL.  It often has difficulty switching from one type of programming or platform to another. So it could take 10-15 seconds to change from a live program to streaming. It doesn't always respond according to what you do with the remote.  The upside is that it generally works while watching a program.

Poor performer

This is a Google TV and it will not let any non Ggogle apps work on your TV. My digital antenna won't even work.
