This was replacing a 30 year old 10 key Cannon.  Not quite as straightforward  has additional keys but as close as I could find.  I prefer desktop due to arthritis it's doing the job.

I am replacing an older Canon desktop calculator that simply died during tax time.  The Sharp EL 1197PIII does everything I need it to.  I received it within 3 days of ordering so Sam's Club shipping was great and appreciated.

A new workhorse calculator

I like the printing calculators.   I'm really impressed with the display on this model,  bright and easy to read.

the press of tge buttons is consistent for accurate work. good, useful features.

This was a replacement of the older one that I had   Do not like how the numbers are lighted up.  Old way was better.  Overall, great calculator for the money.  Would buy again.

MY LAST SHARP LASTED 15 PLUS YEARS.  I AM AN ACCOUNTANT AND IT TAKES A BEATING.  THE TOUCH/ACTION OF THE KEYS IS BETTER THAN OTHER BRANDS.  LOVE IT ! ! !

No headache shopping

The picture on the website differs from the actual product. The product works just fine however, it is NOT what I expected. The design obviously changed on this product. Apparently the picture has NOT been updated on several websites. Same model %23 different placement of 2 of the keys. The placement of the Arrow and CE keys makes a difference when your job requires you to use a calculator/adding machine.

I did not like that the total key was where the clear key was on my previous Sharp machine.  I kept hitting total when I wanted to clear a number.  Very frustrating.
