Im usually not a frozen chicken type of person but my daughter purchased these and cooked them and I was so surprised at how good they taste. Perfectly crisp on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside.

I have been buying the crispy chicken strips as my main protein source for so long. I have food intolerances and allergies, with ARFID developed as a result. This was my SAFE protein. It was clean and healthy enough to sustain me when I did not feel like preparing fresh chicken. Taking the recipe and "improving" it by cheapening it? Shame on you. I expected better from Perdue quality. Raise the price if you are so worried about profits, but leave the recipe alone. I know my two bags a week won't break the company, but it's two bags a week that I will not buy again. Absolute loss.

New recipe is poor quality. Not improved, cheap.

Perdue Chicken

The resealing strip is thin and doesn't work. In this day and age is it too hard to engineer a reseal strip that works?! Did anyone try it before they mass produced? Stupid, going to buy Tyson on my next purchase.

Reseal strip does not work

This is a "New Coke" moment for Perdue. Please change the "new and improved" Crispy Chicken Tenders back to the original recipe or at least make the original version available  as a "classic" version.  The new ones look better in the bag but the chicken texture is mushy. The bread doesn't cling to the chicken in the same way and worst of all there is a chemical aftertaste to the whole thing now. It's just bad.

"New and improved" is Worse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are loving these chicken strips! They are so versatile and crisp up so good. I air fried them at 350 for 7 minutes and added them to a salad. My toddler had them just with dipping sauce and loved them. These will be our go to from now on. Only downside was there was a hole in the bag so I had to put them in a ziplock to keep them fresh.

I bought this yesterday and my mom and I had it for dinner tonight.  I've never had a complaint about any Perdue product before, however this one doesn't measure up to Perdue standards.  The breading is too thick and not pleasant to chew like other crunchy breading.  Also, I could not detect any seasoning in the breading or the chicken.

Unexpected disappointment....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to cook. Popped in the air fryer for 5 minutes and dinner was served. I served it on a hamburger bun with lettuce pickles tomatoes and pickles. Instructions were very easy to follow. The taste was amazing. First and not the last time trying them. The taste was very delicious.

Amazing

I bought these due to the Purdue brand name as well as them being an Instant Savings item. Very disappointed. I prepared them using the oven instructions.  None of the pieces were crispy. The coating was very bland and tasteless. Besides that, nearly every other piece had gristle. Microwave preparation was even worse, it turned out all rubbery and frankly inedible.  I might try deep frying some as a last resort before I throw them into the trash.

They were out, or discontinued, Tyson's Crispy Chicken Strips so we purchased these instead.  Cooked the remaining Tyson's with this new product, so side-by-side...Chicken pieces smaller, breading less seasoned.  Cooks up like a fast-food restaurant product.  Terrible consistency, very mediocre taste.  Hope they will bring back a superior product.  Will definitely NOT purchase again.
