We had one of the old metal sheds that was literally rotting apart, leaked like a sieve. This shed was relatively easy to put together, but did take some muscle to snap the sides & corners in place. My husband and I put it up, it only took a little over 3 hours. I recommend you  build the trusses first and start from the right side and working your way around the shed putting up the walls. It came with the shelf along the back wall & 2 corner shelves. We just love it!

great features, looks great!

I bought this shed about a month ago got it within a week, watched U-Tube a couple of times when I had a question and it went together with out a problem. I'm soon to be 66 and I did it by myself. My only complaint is I could not get the doors even no matter what I tried to do, and it's snowed here twice and the inside was as dry as a bone.

Lifetime 8 X 10 Storage shed

Just finished putting this together. The hardest part is not putting the shed together, you must make sure your foundation is level whichever method you choose to install. Only run into a snag when getting to the roof but I went to the internet and found the solution for the bracing bars. But I think it will be a great purchase. Would rate at excellent but time will tell that.

We took the necessary steps to make sure that the foundation was leveled correctly and things went together relatively well.  Needed some "persuasion" to get some of the holes to line up correctly and lots of patience to follow the directions, but the end result appears to be fine.

We recently had winds over 70 MPH and the shed didn't budge.  No leaks during a recent heavy rainstorm.  

Couldn't ask for much more.

Just what we needed

Sam's deliver on time.  The price was competitive.  The printed directions were as best as they could write them.  My advice...  Must have at least 2 persons to install.  Watch 3rd party videos for installation issues so your not surprised when things happen.  Look closely to the instructions on what side the bolt goes.  The pieces fit like a tight glove and if your a little off, you will struggle.  A flat level surface is imperative.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Me and my husband put it together! It is nice except the 2 front panels by the door were bowing out a little. I called customer service and they are sending me 2 support brackets! It has lots of room for all my outside yard stuff!

We bought this shed in the belief that a plastic shed would literally last a “lifetime” but failed to consider that plastic cannot be adjusted.  The doors on our shed, now 2 1/2 years old, do not close and have never closed, despite install of a new platform and professional assembly.   Lifetime is now suggesting replacing parts and we hope that works, but this will be the third replacement of parts, and we are no longer confident.  I would definately buy a wooden or metal shed if I was doing it again.

Beware of plastic!

The instructions are hard to follow. How about a different book for each language? filtering through six languages makes it tough to look at. Then when you are done there is no door adjustment and the doors don't align or close properly. I went to Sam's Club to look at the display model and their doors didn't align or shut either. All the recommended solutions don't work either. The floor didn't line up strait either so there are small gaps at the sides of each section.

Poorly designed instructions and parts

I was excited to assemble my new shed, but was chagrined to discover that one of the four floor panels was not the correct piece, so I haven't been able to get started on the assembly.  I'm still waiting for Lifetime to ship the correct part, which the customer service representative said they would do at no charge to me.  However, it has to ship via freight, so it is going to take longer to arrive.  :(

Instructions were not clear and it was extremely difficult to assemble. After a weekend of putting the shed together, we decided to take it apart and return it because it was not sturdy, the walls were bent in, and the roof wasn't aligned with the rest of the shed.

Never again
