Member's Mark 12-Piece Stoneware Holiday Dinnerware Set

The pattern of these dishes really appeals to me. I tend to like simple designs that aren’t cartoonish or look like they belong in the North Pole. These walk the line between casual and elegant by being a fairly hefty stoneware with a neutral, nature-inspired pattern with just two main colors, but being placed on the ivory plate with green being the primary focus, it definitely could be used everyday meals, a casual Christmas gathering or your main Christmas party. The colors happen to go perfectly with the Christmas placemats my mom quilted years ago. I think the thing I like most about the design is that the pattern is very lightly embossed. It isn’t enough for food to go into a groove or anything. It just gives a hint of an indication that these dishes are a little bit nicer than just the standard. The bowls are huge. I measured and they hold 24 ounces of fluid. Of course, they could be soup bowls or salad bowls. But since the set already has a large plate and a small plate (and the small plate can be a salad plate), these bowls are actually large enough that they could also be used to serve small side dishes. Each one would hold two cans of vegetables easily. That’s what my family is going to do with them.
