It's compact not so bulky doesn't take up much room,,, and if you work right you can get an awesome cardio workout which is what I need to bring down my blood pressure and it very well is helping in achieving that... I like it and it works for me...

Definitely would have helped to have a "helper" as doing it by myself was a bit of a pain. It's quite low to the ground, have to be careful getting down to seat (old and out of shape, I am", getting better the more I use it. Hopefully it will "do the job" and I'll start getting in better shape......just need to use it. Go for it, I see no problems with the machine.

convenient

So far so good. I’ve been looking into some type of home workout equipment and when I came across this rower  which is a full body workout I thought YES! I like the different settings option depending on how hard of a workout I want that day. Set up was easy, some reviews said it was hard/complicated but I was able to put it together by myself in about 1.5 hours.

Nice and easy

If you’re new to rowing like I am, this rowing machine is perfect. It’s very basic, quiet, and does not require electricity- the screen only requires batteries. Assembly was not difficult.

Good for novice rowers

We found this at Sears but they were completely out of stock on it.  We looked everywhere and the only place that could deliver before Christmas was Walmart.  I have to say, I HATE going into the actual brick and mortar Walmarts, but everything I've bought from them online has been super fast delivery (even this was 2 days before expected) and good quality.  Thanks!  Putting it together was a HUGE pain in the butt, and while it does it's job I wish there were more resistance options.  It goes to 8 which really isn't that hard to pull.  You feel it after a while but not immediately.  also the LCD read out isn't clear on 2 of the read outs, it gets jumbled when it scans thru time and calories sometimes.   I do not think the calorie read out is very accurate anyway b/c I did it strongly at high resistance for 45 minutes and it said I only burned 70 calories.  Um, not possible. That would mean it would be less than 100 for a full hour.  I burn 300 raking leaves at least so this should def be more than that.  but whatever, who cares as long as my muscles are working.  Hard to get too much of a sweat but i suppose it's not meant to be a cardio machine.  Great for our basement whose ceilings are too low for a treadmill or elliptical.

Great for small spaces

A couple of washers were missing that I ended up purchasing at the hardware store and the provided instructions were only in a foreign language which made assembly a bit of a challenge.  I should have looked earlier but did find English instructions on the internet after it was assembled.  Once assembled, for the price it looks to be a good machine.

Good basic rower, assembly had issues.

This is a good basic machine,  however i can only give it 3 stars as the seat is way too small. If you are a child its the right size, but for the average adult it is far too small.

Good basic piece of equipment

Easy to build, however the levels of pressure from 1-8 are really just 1and 8 in difference. You cannot feel the pressure difference in the other levels.

Great for teens

Missing parts and had to call customer services to order them.  I still have not received them.

Parts Missing

Had to return. Seat frame busted; rail dented and monitor unattached and dangling by a wire.
