We lived in Iowa for many years and after moving to Fl. We couldn't find this brand in Fl. Decades without it. 
What a surprise to find out available in The Sams App. And at normal price and free shipping for 4 gals of greatness.

Only one we want

My fiance introduced me to this bbq sauce she grew up on. She was born in Iowa, and it is better than sweet baby rays

BBQ All year round

I make it a point to try regional BBQ sauces. I have to say I'm not a fan of the flavor. I made a couple racks of ribs and sauced them up with Cookies. It has a tomato paste texture and the liquid smoke is pronounced. I didn't find the seasoning in the sauce to be interesting. It is a very mild sauce if that's important to you. I prefer Kansas City style sauces and even SBR compared to this. It's worth a try, but a gallon is a commitment.

It's OK but I think there are many better sauces

This sauce has great taste, but it has corn syrup as a sweetner. There is cellulose listed in the ingredients as well as sodium benzoate (a preservative). If these ingredients don't bother you, then this is 5 star sauce. If they do bother you, move on. If Cookie's could make a few changes, I would be a purchaser again.

Great taste, but has questionable ingredients

It's not horrible but it's definitely not good. Way too tomato pasty. The smoke flavor is odd and the sweetness tastes funky
