I keep tostadas around because they can turn simple ingredients into a full meal instead of just a snack. I've used these for seafood ceviche, refried beans with eggs, grilled chicken with salsa, and different fish or shrimp toppings.

One thing I've learned from making ceviche: if you're topping tostadas with anything heavy in lemon juice or liquid (shrimp ceviche, clams, seafood mixes, etc.), it's better to add the topping right before eating. The acidity and moisture will eventually soften almost any tostada over time.

I make ceviche with shrimp or seafood, purple onion, tomatoes, cilantro, bell pepper, salt, black pepper, and lots of lemon juice. Sometimes I add clams or cocktail sauce for a different flavor. These tostadas held up reasonably well, but for the best crunch, I prefer serving the seafood mixture on the side and letting people top their own.

I also think these work well for refried beans with scrambled eggs, grilled chicken with salsa, fish tostadas, avocado, or quick lunches, because the corn flavor stays mild and doesn't overpower toppings.

Texture matters with products like this. I want crunch without immediate crumbling, and these gave me that as long as toppings weren't left sitting too long.
I'd keep these stocked because they're inexpensive, versatile, and useful for more than one type of meal.

🏆 More Than a Snack/ Great for Real Meals

They are delicious!  Of course, the Ole Crunchy Corn Tostadas are not sweet, but they have an acceptable flavor.  You can eat the Ole Crunchy Corn Tostadas with Great Value Thick and Chunky Hot Salsa, 16 oz. or by themselves with no salsa.  Orale, pues!

Delicious Ole Crunchy Corn Tostadas, 12.4 oz!

It's the same as nacho chips or a taco shell, but in a shape that's like a plate. Nice flavor and if you're the type that can't stop snacking, grabbing just one of these to nibble on helps with portion control.

Great for Mexican pizza or just as a snack

work very well with heavy toppings like refried beans, but I like with fresh tomatoes ,onions ,cilantro and cheese, even good with canned diced tomatoes seasoned with garlic basil and onion.

The whole family loved these. We made them into what we call open tacos. Addison, some ground beef, cheese, corn beans, lettuce, tomato onion. It was absolutely delicious. These taste kinda in between of a tortilla nacho and a tortilla taco show.

These Banderita brand of tostadas are very delicious. Either for yummy tostadas with your favorite beans and toppings, or break up for dipping with your queso, yum and yum!

These tostadas were really great quality.  I didn't have time to heat them as I usually do with the other brands, but they were still really good. They held with with soggy chicken chalupas.

Great flavor and durability

I only had one broken in my package so I'm basing the rating on that reasonable amount of breakage. They are pretty crisp when fresh but they always crisp up when you bake them with toppings or just bake them to be more crispy. I crisp them first before adding cheese and whatever to melt, then a few more minutes until the cheese melts.

Good product

We absolutely love these crispy tostado shells.  You bake them just like you do taco shells which makes them crispy and they hold together well.  My favorite way to eat them is topped with refried beans,  grated cheese and sour cream and yum!! My hubby loves his with some taco meat, guac and melted cheese topped with lettuce and tomato.  These would also be ideal with melted queso on them and maybe some jalapeños. They're delicious however you prefer to eat them

Perfectly crisp tostados (best after baking)

The whole package is crumbled like someone purposely curshed them.  I had bought before in puplix and they were all in perfect shape but yours is a mess.
