Plant looked healthy and had buds, however, after a very short careful ride from the store all the leaves and buds are dropping and turning brown.  I have other gardenias so I am aware of proper care.  Sadly, this plant will be returned.

Unfortunate

Tree starting dying a week later.  It was watered as recommended.  I have pruned now, trying to see if it will grow.

Tree leaves mos dried and does not look healthy.

I had to work with it after I transplanted to a large planter but it seems to be thriving now .
