1/2" is the size hoop I needed to be in compliance at work. I have small ears (like the model) so these were perfect for me! Love them!

Beautiful small diamond oval hoops

I tried to surprise my wife with these for our anniversary. The picture on the model and the picture of them next to a ruler showed it to be 1 1/4". When I got them they were 5/8" or half of the size in the advertisement. This is false advertisement. Sam's should really look into this and make the correction. I returned them and they refunded the money and offered $80 credit to make up for it but my wife's anniversary gift was ruined. Avoid buy jewelry from sam's online.
