What is Free Shipping for Plus members?
Plus Members will now enjoy Free Shipping on most online items. Items will denote Free shipping Plus or Free Shipping. Some exclusions apply.
What items are ineligible for Free Shipping for Plus?
Most items ship free for Plus members! Some exclusions apply:
- Online Items that are not marked Free Shipping or do not state Free Shipping Plus are not eligible for free shipping
- Certain items may say "shipping included."
- The auctions site is omitted from free shipping
- Free shipping is limited to "Value" or "Standard" shipping. "Premium" and "Express" shipping will incur shipping cost unless specified free
Do Club members qualify for Free Shipping?
Club members who have the $45 membership will receive a few items for Free Shipping denoted by "Free Shipping." However, to enjoy free shipping on most items, Club members are encouraged to upgrade to Plus membership (members only pay prorated charges). Shipping charges on items may vary.
Who is eligible for free shipping?
Plus members: Plus members with an active membership receive free shipping on eligible items, no minimum purchase.
Club members/Guest members: Club members with an active membership and their guests may be eligible for free shipping on a limited assortment on items that are marked accordingly; however, most items will incur shipping costs.
How do I know if I'm a Plus member?
Easy! There are a couple of ways to check to see if you're a Plus member.
- Look at your membership card—either physical or via the Sam's Club App. If you're a Plus member, your card will have a "Plus" label.
- Login into your SamsClub.com account or register your member number to a new account. After you've logged in, go to "Your Account" > "Membership." Next to "Membership Type," it will say either "Club" or "Plus."
Is there an order minimum for free shipping?
Plus members: No. Plus members with an active membership have no order minimums. Some restrictions apply.
Club members/Guest members: For Club members with an active membership and guests (no membership), shipping costs will incur on most items. Cost for most items are based on size, weight, shipping method, and delivery address.
What are the benefits of Plus membership?
In addition to Free Shipping for Plus, there are many benefits to a Plus membership:

Is shipping to Puerto Rico available?
Shipping is not available to Puerto Rico, currently.

Are Drop Ship Resellers (multiple ship addresses) eligible for free shipping?
Drop Ship Resellers are allowed free shipping on up to a total of 20 different addresses. Free shipping will not be available to addresses exceeding that limit. Sam's Club reserves the right to amend the terms of this program in whole or in part, at any time, as determined by the sole discretion of Sam's Club without notice to the Member.
A Drop Ship Reseller is someone who lists Sam's Club items for sale on a third party site. Our merchandise is meant solely for our Members who pay a membership fee. Restrictions apply when shipping to multiple addresses.
Items flagged with Free shipping and Free shipping for Plus have a 20 address limit.
Will I receive free expedited shipping with my Plus membership?
No. Free shipping is limited to ground shipping. Faster ship methods will incur a cost unless specified free.
Will items ship on Saturdays?
No. At this time, weekends and holidays are not included.
Is Free Shipping for Plus available from Club?
The Free Shipping for Plus program provides free Standard shipping on online items only. This program does not include shipping from the club.
What is the total delivery time for my order?
The delivery time for your order is determined by two factors, Processing and Shipping.
Processing is the time between submitting your order and when the item leaves the warehouse. For most items, processing time is done electronically and usually completed within 1-2 business days for small parcel and 1-7 days for larger items that ship Freight.
Shipping Time begins when the item leaves the warehouse to when it arrives at the member-selected delivery destination.
For your protection, some orders may be diverted to our Order Verification Team. As part of this verification, we will notify you via email, usually within 48 business hours to validate your order. Please respond promptly, so your order will not be cancelled. Additionally, be sure to provide accurate contact information when placing your order.
The following items typically require extra processing time:
Personalized items, such as water bottles.
Installable items, such as hot tubs, vending machines, industrial kitchens, safes, garage doors, and appliances.
What are the shipping methods available?
Small Item Shipping Methods:
Value: 5-9 business days (Not all items qualify for Value Shipping)
Standard: 3-5 business days
Premium: 2-3 business days
Express: 1-2 business days

For Standard shipping to Alaska or Hawaii, add 2-4 days

Freight Shipping Methods:
Items that are too large and/or too heavy to ship small parcel are shipped with a designated freight carrier. After the carrier receives your order, they will contact you to set up a delivery time.
Typically, delivery times are within a 4-hour window Monday – Friday, between 8 am and 5 pm.
Please NOTE: Some areas are not serviced daily and may require additional day(s) for delivery. Please provide up-to-date contact information when placing your order to ensure efficient delivery.
Different Service levels for Freight deliveries:
Threshold includes interior delivery into the first dry area available. Delivery agents will unload your item(s) and place them in the first dry area available, such as the garage or front entryway. If delivering to an apartment, the carrier will only deliver inside the first floor of the complex.
Please NOTE: Drivers do not assist with unpacking, set-up, or clean up.
White Glove Delivery:
White Glove includes an interior room of choice upon delivery. The delivery agents will unload and place your item(s) in a room of your choosing. White glove service generally includes unpacking, removal/disposal of packing materials and transporting your order up or down a maximum of two flights of stairs.
Please NOTE: Unless otherwise stated on product page, this service does not include set-up and/or assembly.
This service is available for commercial business addresses and requires access to an unloading dock. The driver will move the item to the back of the truck, and the Member will need to unload the truck (may require equipment to unload).
Please NOTE: Drivers do not assist with unloading, unpacking, set-up or clean-up. Any other services provided will require additional fees to the Member and are payable to the shipping company upon completion.
Where can SamsClub.com orders be shipped?
Sam's Club online currently ships to:
- 50 states (not all items)
- Some items may have restrictions that prevent shipment to Military Bases, AK, HI, and CA.
Sam's Club Auctions currently ships to:
Small parcel items: All 50 states
Bulk items: The 48 continental states
We do not ship to P.O. Boxes due to size constraints.
We do not ship to APO/FPO or Military Bases due to access restrictions.

Can I use different "Bill to" and "Ship to" addresses?
If you choose to ship order(s) to an address other than the billing address of your credit card, Sam's Club may contact you to verify the "Ship To" address. This may cause a short delay. To expedite order processing, please provide up-to-date contact information when placing your order.
Please NOTE: The "Ship To" address cannot be altered after the order has been shipped.
What is the Shipping Estimator?
This estimates the shipping costs for all available shipping options before an order is placed.

How are shipping costs determined?
The shipping cost for most items is based on the item's size, weight, shipping method and delivery address.
In your shopping cart, we show an estimated shipping cost based on our lowest-price shipping method and presuming that all items in your cart are going to a single address within the contiguous United States.
Why is the delivery agent trying to charge me more for shipping?
This can happen if you paid for one level of service but request another. If you did not request extra delivery services other than what was listed with the item, please contact our Member Services Department at 888-746-7726. The Member Services Department will take your information and inform the SamsClub.com logistics department to investigate and resolve the issue for you.
Please NOTE: Do not pay the carrier/delivery agent any amount, if extra delivery services were not requested/provided.
Can I receive a reduced shipping rate if I make a large purchase?

What are the shipping regulations for items purchased?
Due to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) restrictions, we cannot ship items by air (premium or express) that contain regulated or hazardous materials. Restrictions are usually identified on the product page and these items can only be shipped via ground to the 48 contiguous states.
These items typically fall into 2 categories:
- Aerosol products in pressurized spray cans
- Products that contain flammable, volatile or corrosive chemicals
How do I check the status of my order?
After any order is completed, members receive an email confirming the purchase. After the order ships, members will receive a second email with tracking information. You can also find this online at SamsClub.com in your Account Information under Order History.
What should I do if the tracking number I receive is not working?
It can take up to 1-2 business days for the tracking number to be registered/scanned in the carrier's system. This could prevent visibility to your shipment.
If two business days have passed after receiving your tracking number, and you are still unable to track the order, please contact our Member Services Department at 888-746-7726. The Member Services Department will take your information for the Sam's Club Logistics Team to investigate and provide valid tracking information.
Why was my order sent in multiple packages when it all could have fit in one box?
Items ordered from SamsClub.com may ship from multiple locations making them unavailable to ship in one box.
What can I do if I never receive my order?
Occasionally, packages are lost in transit, delivered to the wrong address or arrive in separate packages. Packages may also be left with a family member, neighbor, co-worker or building manager.
Please NOTE: If an order is past the estimated delivery date or tracking shows it as delivered, and you never received the order, please contact Member Services at 888-746-7726.
