Fluffy Belgian Waffles
These waffles are so soft, sweet and easy, all you have to do is add your fave toppings.
Ingredients
- 3 egg whites
- 1 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup Splenda® Granulated Sweetener
- 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups white flour
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
Directions
- Heat waffle iron and coat generously with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a small bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, stir together milk, yogurt, Splenda and vanilla. Gently sprinkle in flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Stir ingredients together just until incorporated. Fold beaten egg whites into batter.
- Pour an appropriate amount of batter into the waffle maker and cook for about 3 minutes. Remove and continue with the rest of the batter, coating the waffle maker with nonstick cooking spray each time.
- Top waffles as desired. Enjoy!
