Fluffy Belgian Waffles

These waffles are so soft, sweet and easy, all you have to do is add your fave toppings.

Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup Splenda® Granulated Sweetener
  • 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cups white flour
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. kosher salt

Directions

  1. Heat waffle iron and coat generously with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form and set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl, stir together milk, yogurt, Splenda and vanilla. Gently sprinkle in flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Stir ingredients together just until incorporated. Fold beaten egg whites into batter.
  4. Pour an appropriate amount of batter into the waffle maker and cook for about 3 minutes. Remove and continue with the rest of the batter, coating the waffle maker with nonstick cooking spray each time.
  5. Top waffles as desired. Enjoy!
