What is Club Pickup?

Club Pickup is a free service that lets Sam's Club members order items carried in the club and let the club do the shopping for you. The Member will be able to choose any open time slots that are available to have orders placed for pickup. If there are no free slots open in any specific time slot, the time frame will not be available to be selected.

Is there a fee to use Club Pickup?

No. Club Pickup is free for all Sam's Club members.

What payment methods are accepted for Club Pickup?

How do I receive my receipt?

If you pay in club, your receipt will be handed to you. Receipts for online payments will be emailed.

Can I get a gift receipt?

Yes. Simply select that option when checking out online and provide the requested information. The gift receipt will be emailed to the designated person.

What items are eligible for Club Pickup?

Items eligible for Club Pickup are marked "Pick up in club." These include:

  1. Groceries
  2. Frozen foods
  3. Electronics
  4. Office supplies
  5. Baby needs
  6. Grills, Patio Furniture, Playground Equipment
  7. HBA and Household Supplies
  8. Mattresses
  9. Case Meats

Items not eligible for Club Pickup include jewelry, apparel, mobile phones, books, music, magazines, memberships, prescriptions and extended warranties.

Please note: Merchandise is subject to availability and is limited by the Sam's Club Merchandise Policy. If the item you requested is not available you will not be charged for that item. Select items require proof of age.

Can I order refrigerated or frozen items?

Yes. We'll keep these items in a temperature-controlled area until you arrive.

Can I pay online?

Yes, most items can be paid for online. Orders that include alcohol, tobacco and automotive items must be paid for at time of order pickup.

Is there a minimum purchase to use Club Pickup?

No, you can order as much or as little as you'd like.

What is Your Lists and do I need it to use Club Pickup?

Your Lists is a tool that lets you re-order items quickly based on your purchase history in club and online. It also recommends substitutions for items that are not in stock. You do not need to use Your List to use Club Pickup, but it would help make re-ordering go-to items faster.

How do I place orders using Your Lists?

Using your Lists is easy!

  1. Go to
  2. Sign into your account.
  3. Under "Your Account," select "Your Lists"
  4. Choose items from your existing list, modify old ones or create a new list.

With all of the options above, Reorder Your Essentials will provide recommended products for out-of-stock items.

How will I know my order is ready to be picked up?

We'll send you a confirmation email or text message if you provided your mobile number. (Message data and rates may apply.)

Can I have someone else pick up my order?

Yes. Just provide that person's name, e-mail and phone number during checkout, by clicking on "Additional Pickup Person, +Add"

He/she must present ID, order number and membership card if they are paying in club. However, if you select online payment, they do not need to be a member. ID and order number must still be presented.

If no alternative pickup person is noted on checkout, the order will only be released to the Member’s name listed on the order.

Changes made to authorized pickup persons noted on the order must be made on the order and cannot be made after the order is submitted.

How long do I have to pick up my order?

We will try to hold your order for two days following your requested pick-up date.

All orders not picked up within two days are subject to cancellation.

Please note: Fresh items will only be available for pickup on your selected day.

What do I need with me to pick up my order?

You will need a current government-issued photo ID and your order number.

What should I do when I get to the club?

Depending on the options available at your club, there are two ways you can check in:

Mobile check-in/Text to Check In
When you arrive, check in via mobile check in/ or text to check in and meet the Sam's Club associate at the Club Pickup area. Your items will be ready for you when you arrive.

Drive-through pickup: (Available at select clubs)
If you have paid for your order online, pull into the drive-through area and check in using mobile check in or text to check in. A Sam's Club associate will bring your items to you.

If you have selected to pay for your order at time of order pickup, the order will need to be paid for and picked up inside the club.

Can I cancel a Club Pickup order?

Yes. Just visit or call the Sam's Club location you have designated for pickup using the number listed in your confirmation email.

Can I pick up some items at the club and have others shipped to an address?

Yes, just indicate that during checkout.

Do my Instant Savings apply to Club Pickup items?

Absolutely! However, you must pick up your items and pay for them while the offer is still valid. If you order them online while the offers are valid, but pay in club after they expired, you will not receive the Instant Savings discount.

Can I change the pickup time?

The first available pickup time is displayed in checkout. If this is not a convenient time, click on "Change Time"; available pickup slots will be displayed that can be chosen.

Can I order delivery items to be shipped/picked up at club?

Currently, this service is not available. Delivery items may be unique items that are only available through delivery and cannot picked up at the club.

How can I make my CPU order tax exempt?

Tax exempt Members must have current tax exempt paperwork on file in their home club. The ability to make the CPU order tax exempt will be at checkout.

An option is made to “Make all items in order tax exempt”, or to specify which line items need to be tax exempt. These selections must be made in order for the items to be tax exempt. If not selected, the order will not be tax exempt.

Can I place an order for same day pickup?

We typically offer same-day pickup at every club. However, due to an increased volume of orders during this time, please note that there may be a delay in fulfillment. We are working hard to fulfill every order as fast as we can and appreciate your patience.

When same-day pickup is back up and running, here are some things to keep in mind:

    Orders must be placed by 3 p.m. local time. Orders placed after this time will automatically default to the next day.

    Same-day orders are limited to 10 items or less. If there are more than 10 items, future pick-up dates will need to be selected.

Can my discounts be applied if the order was cancelled?

If the order was cancelled; any offers/promotions/discounts on the order cannot be re-applied.

Will the price be honored for an item that was ordered; when the order was cancelled?

Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.

While Sam's Club strives to provide accurate product and pricing information, pricing, pictorial or typographical errors may occur.
